You made me laugh my friend when you called it a silencer! There is nothing silence about that pipe! We here in America refur to it as a stack or a stinger pipe! I use these stinger pipes to show people that you cannot plug a 2-stroke engines exaust pipe off with a set of baffles and spark arrestors and blunt faces that make the spent exaust gasses hit and turn direction to make it's way out of a narrowed down hole to escape the saw! It creates a lot of excess heat passing by all the things that have been installed in the exaust pipe through the years by the EPA to save the planet! Anytime you ignite a fuel that explodes when lit on fire in a combustible area you are now dealing with a super heated air traveling twice the speed of sound! And some of these newer saws are doing 14000 thousand RPM! That's alot of back to back firing super heated exaust gasses past these pieces that are inside that exaust pipe catching that heat and transferring it back into the cylinder of your chainsaw! All you have to do is take a little stroll back in time and take a look at the vintage chainsaws and the wide open stingers on all of them! Loud? Oh yes they are! But you can run a saw all day and never have a heat issue with one of those exaust pipes! But with a new saw with all the planet saving crap packed in your exaust, you would be lucky to get out of the woods without a scuffed piston on the exaust side if you're not very careful and skilled with a chainsaw and know what the sound of a piston trying to seize from being over heated! Besides, I love to disturb the peace with a saw that barks for a city block or ten! It says, there's a new sheriff in town to all the rookies that don't know how to tune one and make it bark like a big dog! 😉

o machado e a motosserra (the axe and the chainsaw)
entraram junto no mato pra mostrar a serventia
a motosserra roncava machado velho tinia
machado seguiu cortando mata grossa e mata fina
motosserra impotente rebentou sua corrente acabou a gasolina

      Good morning Ethan.
      Greetings from the UK 😁.
It was from a Dealer in Europe. Sometimes when looking for parts I've realised just how many companies products do not show up in the eBay UK site search, but when you navigate directly to the various countries websites you can find most things.
      Kind regards Rob
