Actually thinking about it, in the show if I were Catra, I wouldn’t just start to hurt everyone, especially Adora because I love her, what I would hurt would be Shadow Weaver and the Horde and then TALKING TO Adora instead of hurting her, because then, if I talked to her my situation, she would’ve helped me more, because the person hurting me isn’t Adora, it’s the Horde and Shadow Weaver. Yes Adora left me multiple times, but that isn’t because she wanted to leave me, it’s that she wanted to leave the Horde, which I want too but I didn’t, why?? So now thinking about it, Catra has made so many choices that denied what she really wanted because of small details. Like, she wanted to join the rebellion, she wanted Adora, she wanted to fight the Horde, but she didn’t, why?!?!!! Why did she end up hurting the people she didn’t even want to hurt at first, like yes you have some mental illness and dark backstory, but that isn’t an excuse for making choices that are the complete opposite of what you actually want, and that is like the only part I do NOT understand about her. In videos some say like, it’s because that she didn’t want to accept the fact that Adora left everything just for people who she just met, well that doesn’t make sense either, it can’t be that, because Catra already know that the Horde is wrong. But like I guess the only thing here is that she didn’t know that Adora wants to be with her, which is another problem and misunderstanding where there really shouldn’t be any, like, Catra doesn’t make sense, she thinks Adora doesn’t want her when Adora made it pretty obvious that she does. She following Shadow Weaver doesn’t mean she doesn’t want Catra. So that’s like a reason to say that Catra is like soOOoo full of self doubt, like too much self doubt, and a bit stupid too😅, I know, I know it’s harsh to just say that, especially when Catra IS my favourite character, but I can’t deny something that I think is true just because she is my favourite character, but you kinda have to agree with me that Catra isn’t the most looking-at-the-full-picture kind of person, and so is Adora, or any of the characters! Which bugs me!! They’re like, 21 at the end of the show, and they still escaping the campground just because they think Adora is replacing her with Shadow Weaver, like, no girl, no, she isn’t and that is CLEAR! Ok?!?!

Catra's character is really complex, I think because she was raised in a toxic environment that's why she acted out.
