- The Beneteau Oceanis 41.1 is the updated version of the popular Oceanis 41. Beneteau describe the Oceanis as a distillation of performance at sea and on-board intelligence, offering wide scope for personalization.
Deckee's Jessica Watson took the Benetteau Oceanis 41.1 for a sail in Melbourne for BoatAdvice to provide her take in the latest model from the French boat builder.
What she discovered was a boat with a open plan and plenty of light thanks to the large windows in the hull and cockpit. On the deck she loved the size of the cockpit and the flexibility of the layout that provided lots of room when sailing but all the necessary features for a comfortable and well-catered stay when at anchor.
One of the highlights was the swim platform that could be lowered or raised at the touch of a button.
On the water conditions were very light for the test but there was enough wind to show her how responsive the rig was and how stable the hull.
Im in love with this boat
Great to see a real sailor doing a review
What a great review. Beautiful boat and very helpful information.
I have seen this video a few times, just realized it was Jessica the youngest person to sail around the world solo.
Thx
Great review.. Subscribed
Seems like a nice coastal cruiser, but unless there's another power option other than the engine or generator and a water maker, I cant see taking it farther than from marina to marina.
This comment makes no sense.
