I disagree about the dancing. Honestly, having seen a bunch of performances from both groups I've always felt that EXO-M had a much stronger and balanced dance line over all... Like EXO-K had Kai but I felt like the gap between him and the others in the group was really noticeable. EXO-M had more solid dancers as a whole. I do enjoy listening to the songs more in Korean though. But performance wise I preferred EXO-M. Their performances seemed a bit more polished and the choreography was tighter.

EXO's concept is the most complicated and interesting out of all the groups, so I want people who get into our kings know about their concept so that they would know all the theories/stories behind each teaser/MV/choreography. That's what makes EXO so so special. And even though their concept isn't much more face slapping like their debut & debut song, if you have been a fan long enough to know the story behind their concept, you'd find even tiniest bit that could correlate to theories about their concept.
4:13 The dance break(which is the same for both versions) only shows Kai, Sehun, Lay, Luhan, Xiumin, and Tao(who does the flip); the main/lead dancers of both groups, at the time~ Which made the dance group actually 4 out of 6 EXO-M members and only 2 EXO-K members~~~ Both groups had two weaker dancers during debut era (EXO-K had Suho & Chanyeol while EXO-K had Chen & Kris, with Kris probably being the strongest of the four because he knew how to use his charisma to hide his flaws when it came to dance). There was/is debate about whether or not Luhan was a main or lead dancer in EXO, but my personal evaluation is that he has always been a great dancer worthy of the title main dancer; he still continues to perform choreo heavy songs despite having to carry all his vocals in his solo work. Xiumin has always been an underrated dancer; I read once that one of EXO's dance teachers believed he could rival Kai, if it wasn't for Xiumin's insecurities holding him back, and I think that's exactly how I would describe his dancing!~ In EXO-M, the ones with the vocals lines was mostly Luhan and Chen (similar to EXO-K's vocals mostly being Baekhyun and D.O), with Lay(a close EXO-K equivalent would be Suho) and occasionally Xiumin. Let me explain to you Dayna, that SM has this concept that seems like they wanna unite both China[from the west] and S.Korea[from the east]. Now China is known for depicting a dragon 🐉 while S.Korea they chose to depict as the phoenix which is usually in the east according to asian mythology. That is why on both videos, the korean Chanyeol's power is fire 🔥 and the phoenix and while Kris Wu who is a Canadian-Chinese has the power Flight but also represents and can summon a dragon. Both dragon and phoenix are related to flight and fire. So you can see Kris here making the floating feather lit up in fire. Kris and Chanyeol [dubbed as the Two Towers of EXO OT12 because of their height] are "sharing the same sky but shall stand on different grounds," in accordance to the story/narration at the beginning, the same sky let their powers communicate even in parallel dimension/world. The same concept with D.O and Chen. D.O represents EXO-K and Chen represents EXO-M for China, comparing the 2 vids, as Chen directs his electricity⚡ on the ground, D.O on his side have lightning in the skies, then he jumps and breaks the ground, then Chen felt the ground moved. Well about luhan and chen they have good vocals together like i really like their chemistry together, and i remember when i started to know exo i had a a good friend that always said to me: check the Chinese version because its sounds better than the korean one so i really checked it out and now i think that exo m had a better chemistry and well blending voices together than exo k, although i know baekhyun and d.o are also amazing vocalists, but yeah that was my opinion about it

It’s funny how you said that EXO-K seemed to have better dancers bc during Wolf era, they said the “bad” dancers of the group were Chen, Chanyeol, and Suho. And then during Lotto era, I don’t remember exactly but I think Kai said Baekhyun used to be absolutely terrible at dancing bc he couldn’t/wouldn’t dance the way that he was taught to do a particular move. 3/4 of those people are in EXO-K lol Although Baekhyun did have dance solos pretty early after debuting so I guess he wasn’t that bad.

I have to heavily disagree with the comment in dancing 😑....EXO M has great dancers that always were great....Lay is same level as Kai... always was... and Xiumin is a great dancer as well... plus Tao can dance...EXO K only had 1 really good dancer at the time. EXO M had several... Chen never was a bad dancer... definitely not worse then D.O. and Chanyeol in EXO K at the time .... I find it strange when people "see" things based on their prejudice or wrong assumptions not their eyes.

Well about luhan and chen they have good vocals together like i really like their chemistry together, and i remember when i started to know exo i had a a good friend that always said to me: check the Chinese version because its sounds better than the korean one so i really checked it out and now i think that exo m had a better chemistry and well blending voices together than exo k, although i know baekhyun and d.o are also amazing vocalists, but yeah that was my opinion about it

It’s funny how you said that EXO-K seemed to have better dancers bc during Wolf era, they said the “bad” dancers of the group were Chen, Chanyeol, and Suho. And then during Lotto era, I don’t remember exactly but I think Kai said Baekhyun used to be absolutely terrible at dancing bc he couldn’t/wouldn’t dance the way that he was taught to do a particular move. 3/4 of those people are in EXO-K lol
Although Baekhyun did have dance solos pretty early after debuting so I guess he wasn’t that bad.

I have to heavily disagree with the comment in dancing 😑....EXO M has great dancers that always were great....Lay is same level as Kai... always was... and Xiumin is a great dancer as well... plus Tao can dance...EXO K only had 1 really good dancer at the time. EXO M had several... Chen never was a bad dancer... definitely not worse then D.O. and Chanyeol in EXO K at the time .... I find it strange when people "see" things based on their prejudice or wrong assumptions not their eyes.
