Thanks for a very good informative presentation. It might help to avoid saying 'you know' - even once - during any conversion. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Hi Supriya, That was a good session with great questions. Ina recent interview I have been asked what is the velocity of your project. I do not have experience in Agile. What number can we give and what could be the good justification to that number ?
Question on point 3: As a Scrum Master:- Can we change a sprint duration or during a project? In the beginning, we can decide but can we make any changes after completing 2 sprints and 4 more pending? Thanks!
Usually you should not. Before committing to sprint , team should agree with the deliverables having a clear idea on estimated timelines. That’s the reason they give importance to sprint planning discussions and welcome to hear any kids of concerns from dev or Qa. In the above case what they do is they still stick to the sprint time box that the project decided initially and may split stories in a granular level so that you might have one release after two sprints of work.
Dear Supriya, thanks a lot for sharing your experience in the form of interview questions. Very practical and from-the- floor-answers. This is really helpful.
It's really helpful for the one who gonna attend SM interview...Still i would say if you're using 6 weeks sprint then it is home grown/customized scrum practices.... And as per scrum guide it is max 4 weeks.... Thanks for this video though...!! Would be waiting for next Video.
hii,i am one of your subscriber.if we follow agile model then from where we can able to see the tasks of next sprint. and if we are in junior position can we able to assign the tickets?
Hello Ms.. I really enjoyed d video thanks very much . Pls I want to ask dis questions::: for someone who have no experience of IT & wants to participate & can read & write what is your advice for such people like me. Because am seeing some terms which am trying to figure out where to start from.
Supriya Baru but the scrum guide states the sprint cycle shouldn't exceed 4 weeks or 1 month? I am new to scrum and trying to understand how does it work in real world
Valentina Soloman yes the most common sprint length that is followed and recommended is two weeks. 99% it’s same but there are some exceptional cases where in business Team decides that they will go with four or six weeks sprints. The reason why I had to mention this exceptional scenario is that we still follow all agile practices in the same manner.
@@SupriyaBaruQA you should keep your sprint iteration length constant so that you can build a reliable velocity. Changing sprint lengths is bad practice.

Hi supriya, If interviewer ask's say the senior management is happy with existing method and don't want to adopt scrum how can we convince senior management for agile/scrum?

Thank you very much for this post. Its 5 real-time questions and explanation is very good.
Well explained thank you madam
Sprint is timeboxed so we can not change the length of sprint
True, not for running sprint but once the Sprint is complete for the next Sprint, one could choose different timebox for a Sprint.
Thank you very much it's very useful. I'm in working in Waterfall method as soon i will move to agile methodologies.
Good one hey. Well explained.

If a scrum master decided 4 sprints for this project at initial stage. But meanwhile time is not sufficient..So we can change sprint in meanwhile

She said 3 two week sprints. Resulting in a 6 weeks release. 2 week sprints are the ideal.
It's good mam... Could you make more videos on agile interviews questions ?
How do we follow agile methodology with respect to production support and automation? Can you make one in depth video on it? 😇

First of all - Agile is not a methodology. Agile doesn't specify methods and procedures. It has set of values and principles.
Hi Ms Supriya, thanks so much for this information. How can I inbox you for consultation
your speaking pace is vry high, try to go small slow so that beginners can understand.

Agile advantage & disadvantage plz??
Hi Supriya, your video is very informative and useful. I have a question.
Product owner is Client's employee or Internal from Service provider ?

so why is agile only 60% succesful as measured by the customer, and the contract and looming liquidated damages?
Well because no approach is 100% successful. Agile has a 64% rating compared to only 49% for waterfall projects. Customers are rarely fully satisfied.
