Last season he was the best ... When teams were getting hammered by covid-19 and he was playing taxi squads and 4th string goaltenders. Now that everything is back to normal he has fallen back to the mean. 60 goals was a one off for Matthews.

@@Aj-sn1dp I'm old school and remember when players played HOCKEY and taught them the GAME at workshops and summer schools, and helped raise money so poor kids could have equipment and ice time. Unless the producer of this show wrote a nice check to the amateur hockey association, it did NOTHING to improve anyone's life, even though it may have tickled YOUR cerebral cortex in between your Mortal Kombat games. With global warming and lessening of outdoor ice globally, where are future generations going to learn the GAME? And I'm not talking the video game. Hockey could easily go the way of baseball into irrelevance if it's not nurtured by top stars inspiring entire generations to excel in the most expensive team sport there is.
