They don’t have to. Kids can be sent to private schools, it’s just that most school systems don’t want to pay for good private schools for problem kids. It’s insane that she has an iep, but has remained. Jasmine should tell them to suspend her and after so many they have to pay for an appropriate placement. I doubt Kayla is at grade level in any subject. Jasmine’s other kids seem smart, sweet and gentle. It’s obviously not her fault. Some kids have severe mental issues.
I agree with your assessment, it seems like a terrible position to be in. I love the fact that Jazzy hasn't given up on her and is trying to get through this the best way she can. I think there's a misunderstanding with that makayla situation. This is the same girl who told acs you were abusing her with a convincing story. It sounded like the 19yr old was upset of how your daughter did you. We all sympathized with you. Could makayla have blown this all out of proportion by telling you in a way it sounded worse than it was? Had you contacting the school for a girl who was checking her for the mistreatment of her mother? I believe this will be resolved. In the meantime, it's girls nowadays not really fighting and just using weapons and don't care about kxlling. Let's critically think before jumping the gun.

I went through something similar like this when I was in Foster care; my foster aunt was telling her friend about my behavior in front of her foster kids and when I got to school the girl called her self trying to bully me in the hallway telling me she was going to beat my ass bc how I was acting and I went home and I told my foster mom that her daughter almost caused me to get beat on because she was talking about my business to her friend In front of kids my foster mom told her daughter about her self and then she had to tell her friend what occurred and that girl got in trouble bc the friend didn’t play that she let her know it’s not her place and that the adults handle those issues

It’s so many mixed emotions with you, your child & the school. First you ask the school for help with your daughter, then you are against the school because of your daughter, they probably do want her gone. Keep her home with you and home school, give the teachers some peace they are there to teach the child not social workers for family drama!

I went through something similar like this when I was in Foster care; my foster aunt was telling her friend about my behavior in front of her foster kids and when I got to school the girl called her self trying to bully me in the hallway telling me she was going to beat my ass bc how I was acting and I went home and I told my foster mom that her daughter almost caused me to get beat on because she was talking about my business to her friend In front of kids my foster mom told her daughter about her self and then she had to tell her friend what occurred and that girl got in trouble bc the friend didn’t play that she let her know it’s not her place and that the adults handle those issues
