The heroes are on a quest to find a magical artifact. They are told that it was last scene in a goblin infested mountain. Eventually they acquire a lone goblin who agrees to lead them to their king only to find that the Goblin King has mutated into a dragon-like creature. The paranoid king has swallowed his hoard to protect it. Instead of a breath weapon he vomits up a bit of his hoard, but he will only use it as a last resort.

Damn that thing looks horrifyingly creepy in the good way
Exactly what I was going for!
Who knew Mac Demarco was also talented at sculpting and painting minis?
Hahahahahaha
Great build and great video. I have a funny feeling your channel is going to blow up.
Wow thanks! That means a lot
Duuuuude, I love this miniature! The entire concept is just fun.
I love the inclusion of your concept work at the beginning. This mini is super unique, and I love their weird, gross face. The cat tree hairdo turned out great!
I just like everything about this guy.
An excellent sculpt and an amazing original creature.
Thank you so much
Love the goblin song
Thanks! Some of my best work haha
Amazing! The concept is great, I absolutely love your drawing style, and the final figure came out so good! Well done 👏
Wow thanks a lot !
Haha, he looks awesome.
Also the song slaps.

Amazing build man, really creepy monster too.
Thanks ! I love him.
This was AWESOME!
Thank you :)!
I'm speechless ... for lack of better words... "wooow that is just awesome"
your sense for color, detail and composition are incredible ... really instructive and inspiring video, a real pleasure to watch 👌
if you one day, sit in a lack of inspiration, and don't really know what to create, maybe some 28mm viking roleplay stuff could be an idea 😁
Many thanks for showing and please keep up the good work
Wow that’s so kind of you! Thank you so much. Lots more to come
Such a lovely model. Though it's a one off, if you ever find yourself making more I'd totes go on a buy list. Looks so fun to paint.
Though maybe I should try making my own. Hmmmm
Make One! Someone else did and it looked great!
Man that turned out great. You nailed the Jim Henson vibes. It also reminds me of the art from artist Tony DiTerlizzi, who did a lot of illustrations for Magic The Gathering as well as Planescape for AD&D 2nd Edition back in the day. Of course, one of his major influences was Jim Henson movies like Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal, so yeah spot on.
As for painting miniatures, I’ve also found that enjoying it also means deciding what you want to accomplish and how far you want to go, and being okay with just stopping at that point. I’m fine with not being as good as some people at painting minis. I like experimenting and trying new methods, but I’m also comfortable with what I can do, so I think I enjoy it more when I’m not trying to paint as good as someone else. Nothing wrong with improvement, but it’s also good to just be comfortable with your own style. Mini Painting is like any art, everyone has their own style. Some people can paint photorealistic pictures, others do cartoons. Some people can make a mini look as real as life, others make them look like neat toys. Neither is bad, both are good. It just depends on what you want to accomplish and what you enjoy.
Wow thanks! Totally the vibe I was going for! Will definitely look to his work for future inspiration. And yeah I totally agree. Painting minis and really any hobby should be to your own standards and own level of enjoyment.
This thing looks ridicules! Love it!
Thanks!
love it! also big fan of your editing style and humour
Thank you so much! That really means a lot.
You should definitely make videos more often
I'm gonna try!
Also, as soon as the song started, I recognized Madala's favourite goblin voice actors. Haha 😂
It’s goblintown all over again
This is really awesome. I think I'll have a go at one
I would love to see it if you do!
@@NicheCrafts deal
@@NicheCrafts I've finished. Where do you want it?
@@tel2671 @NichPatzelt on Twitter!
Don't mind me, just working my way through your backlog.
Hahahaa amazing. Yet another instance of making things hard on myself. Writing a jingle for the goblin king at the end.
@@NicheCrafts Yeah we need to have a chat about your music making skills because I need to learn!
Hell yeah. Its so fun.
Nice one.
Thanks!
@@NicheCrafts I especially liked the way you integrated real world reference into your fantasy build. I did not about the Goblin Shark until now. Very well done!
He looks like a former US president...
I mean he does hoard treasure….
Rad❤
Love seeing someone make their way through my vids !
Classic doll hairs joke
The whole vid is basically just a big setup for it
Hey amazing work! Was looking at my analytics and saw some of my viewers came from this video! Would love to do a collab where we make a mini! If you're interested then Bob me a message on Instagram (same name)
That could be fun! I have a lot of projects lined up at the moment but maybe in a little bit. Would love to get into some colab stuff!
