Gok Wan is a visual genius making the art of dressing accessible and imaginable to ordinary folks having fun with fashion. I think I'll challenge myself to re-work my current wardrobe and see if I can alter some pieces to upgrade the 'fun' factor into what I wear.
Awesome I like his side better to I believe these designers are way overrated and people they are there making their clothes today they make better clothes and some of the designers he is awesome I am so glad I found this channel

For me the designer clothes are selling at obscene prices, the shoes and bags too. I am a fashion grinch.
These girls have no vision obviously. You can adapt high street fashion to suit your shape, height and individuality.

I love Gok and his tips, but I am surprised he hasn't given any to his assistant, Alexa. That hair! Even a comb and a £6 haircut would be better than split ends and a rubber band. She could so easily look like a super model...and a splash of make up, please!

I haven't read any comments about this - - - but what about Gok's weight loss? I mean, he looks FANTASTIC!! I'm assuming he's quite healthy and just put his foot down & lost a bunch of weight. Wow! Good on you, Gok!!
I fully realise that I'm responding to an older comment but I think it's important for people watching this video to see this. Gok opened up about suffering from an eating disorder. I appreciate your comment and know it came from a good place, however not everyone looking super fit (this series aired in 2008) is happy or healthy, I'm afraid. I believe he's much more in peace with his body image nowadays or at least he indicated he was.

one thing I noticed watching this series is the designers are almost always dressing for 35-45 year old women, while God dresses for the 21-35 year range. LOL
