Thanks for the video, a guy that's a pro player and paintball gun dealer taught me how to adjust the regulator. But this video helps as a visual refresher course.
That reg is adjustable. You have to unscrew the bottom of it. There is an aluminum screw that uses a flathead screwdriver. Counter clockwise increases pressure
I got back into paintball a year ago. I bought a new marker, but I'm having my old 2k3 autococker being sent to me from my parents. I can't wait to tune it up and revel in the nostalgia. I'm tempted to e blade it and enjoy it as an antique marker.
don't eblade it , grab a nice quick mech hinge frame like a dye or an eclipse, polish up the hammer lug and get a short throw 3 way like the shocktech bomb or the empire resurrection 3 way . another fast firing high rate of fire option is: if you can find an autococker select fire frame you can go through the process of making a "pneucocker" which admittedly is a bit drawn out/ long but it gives you a 100% mech 'cocker with a superlight trigger which can be walked and will keep up with any electronic marker if you have the fingers fast enough . Just please don't go putting eyeholes in a perfectly good non-drilled cocker body as they are becoming more and more scarce on the open market. If the body is already drilled though yeah fair game go eblade, and if money is no object go with an MQ / MQ2 valved e-cocker.
@DJxWolfii No problem. Take apart your CP Reg. My guess is you got some dust on the inside which mixed with the lube on the inside of the reg causing a little bit of mud or dirt and is preventing the shims on the inside from sealing properly. Look up Mike Phillips vid on taking apart your CP Reg to know how to do it.
@DJxWolfii If you have a gun with duo regulators meaning a low pressure regulator and high pressure regulator yes it will. CO2 is cold air which will damage your orings faster than using high pressure/nitrogen air. Now on cold days the CO2 wont expand enough and your gun will chrono lower. High pressure air doesn't have that problem. Always best to use high pressure air/nitrogen.
Thanks again man. now i just need to fix the CP Regulator on my gun. It seems to be leaking. I will have to take it into a shop and see what i can do to see the problem.
Thanks again. Yea it seems to be just leaking from the hold on the CP Regulator. If you can see that hole on the CP Regulator thats where the leak is coming from
Just chiming in to say that adjusting the cocking rod is not the best way to allow more or less room in the breech. If it's too short the hammer lug will smash against the body inside. The best practice is to adjust the ram rod as best as possible, then pull the back block/bolt all the way back, and lastly ensure that the cocking rod still has room to go backward (beyond the limit of the ram/back block).
I can not find the people you mentioned at the end of the video or maybe I am typing the names wrong. What were the names you mention I know one was cocker nation or cocker punk.
Every time i use my WGP Trilogy Autococker thinks its called the low pressure regulator its start ice up and it stocks so cant adjust it and every time I shot it some time it ill shoot but other shoots will just not have enough have pressure not sure what do. do you have an idea
@AKpaintballer98 your 03 has almost every single adjustment listed as the 04. The only thing you have to really adjust is back block, cocking rod, and hammer lug. Not all autococker have the coupler to adjust when the recocking takes place, as well as the adjustable LPR most are factory preset and the HPR is mostly factory preset, Looking at your gun you will quickly figure out if those adjustments can be made or not.
Fix my gun. ill post a video how it shoots. I have some footage, but sadly i broke one of my cheap cameras.( i shot it) I found out that the air was escaping from the emergency hole. It needed a new o ring. The big problem was taking the old original regulator off. still have it attached and now it shots a like a beauty. Well have to buy a new Cp Reg though.
