- Kanima is leaving Lost Ark for good following LOA ON announcement. The main reason for this is the unchanging state of Lost Ark. Since Kanima has been against the direction of Lost Ark ever since Voldis elixir update, he could no longer tolerate another year of the same systems.

Your comments on lost ark were 100% spot on. I still play, but I would fall under casual. I still enjoy the combat enough to still play and that is all.
just stay in t3 solo mode and enjoy it without ever touching t4, solo mode will get content down the line so I dont see any point into jumping into smilegates hamsterwheel again
Just chanced upon this channel as someone who doesn't even really play Lost Ark.
Usually in these types of videos (or channels) that are constantly discussing the failing state of a game and not much else, you find dedicated players that are offended and saying shit like "if it's so bad then just stop making content about it and move on", which to your merit it's great that you've already taken that step preemptively.
But seeing your comment sections genuinely be so supportive makes me think that Lost Ark really must have fucked up like damn lmao
A lot of people are very emotional because of sunken cost fallacy. The game bascially pulled a very evil bait and switch after a specific progression point and only the addicts, whales and the sunken cost people are left playing. The rest quit a long time ago, now they think LOA is saved because of a very soft reset which fixed none of the core game design issues, they are at the denial stage of grief atm :D
I was hyped for the LOA ON, but yeah, I see the situation in a similar way.
Solo raids are like story dungeons: they'll be easy and not very exciting. They'll be useful only for getting a little gold, so you won't get stuck due to lack of gold needed for upgrading your items. The process will be slow as hell, but at least you won't be completely stuck if you can't get into raids.
From my perspective, almost every system has a "new level," so you'll need to keep doing the same things as now if you don't want to be gatekept. Alternatively, you could just accept that you'll need to do story dungeons for slow progression (not worth it; wait for the mokoko events, and after a few months, you'll get everything for free within 1-2 hours).
I already quit the game a year ago, and this won't charm me back. Many people will try it, but after 1-2 months, everything will be the same as now.

well not bad decision, most majority also already quit, no promoting to all of you who read comments to quit if you still think love the game keep playing it. This is how I felt when I played lost ark, the more I played it the more I missed FF14. Everything in FF14 is superior to Lost Ark other than combat.

powercreep of new release classes, class favoritism? ,
synegy skills, build variety and obsolescence.
in conclusion, the soft reset rly make sense?

I quit Lost Ark for FFXIV about a 18 months ago and i'm having a great time.
No more homework to feed the gold sinks, while RMT and Smilegate fill their pockets.
I can do end-game raids on the same playing field as everyone.
In FF14, there a quest where you need to do 90 raids to get a relic weapon. Still more fun then this joke game.

I think LA right now is a good for new players because you can do raids solo so you dont really get time gate until a bit later. but sadly it will still be time gating, and because of solo raids, it will be less support players above 1600
Yet ppl will still find a way to gatekeep new players like Roster and cards like LOS set. Nothing will fix the brains of the west doing this to new players, they want this game dead themselves.

@@stinkyskills You can solo everything until Voldis and then you need to group for Thaemine and Echidna which seem to be the hardest raids and make new players quit the game. This is a bad move from their side.

imagine playing on 2 gems since 3 years and having to put 11 gems on all your chars in t4.
After you play Lost Ark and feel the combat system and the graphics, Final Fantasy looks terrible and so outdated.
LA combat has no depth. all you do is rotate 8 skills and occasionally move to the right spot so you don't get hit. Stagger/Destruction has been there since 6 years ago 2018... Clash is fun till you realize someone fucked up and you must restart... Counter? well already outdated. Only part i liked about LA combat was the hell mode which you get to experience full raid but we won't get anymore hell.
On the other side FF is overhauling their graphics in a month and combat is evolving each expansion which is pretty nice and feels fresh. Don't ever say a combat is outdated before experiencing end-game raids which is Savage/Ultimate in Final Fantasy. 😄
Do Tab-target looks outdated compared to Action-target? yes, but no action-target has the depth of tab-target...
@@aeromoon And what is more diferent in FF. Yes you have more skills as in every MMO, but animation for example is a lot worse then LA. Yes you have clear roles as tanks and healer, but i don't miss this types at all. About overhauling, my friends already tried the patch in beta state and i watched him. Its better yes but it's far from LA graphics.After all FF is not a isometric game. FF ihas better story and ommunity, but raids and combat are far superior in LA, at least for me.

You will use the new "FREE 5x3 in all your character" until you can farm that shit. Or you'll getting gatekeep for using a Grudge that only give you like 12 % dmg or something. Same shit for new players...
Why even bring Acc shit? when was the old one a problem to start with it??.. You just go to the ACC and buy. The only time it was a problem its when you player in a low populate server (i play in SA).. IF you like the new system good for you. But it was never a problem. Now you even have to honing Acc to get more point to the new stat/class/awakening System.
Card system its bullshit everyone know that if its you don't have the whole set its like you don't have it. So don't try to glace it.

The whole point of the new system its that You can play both engraving whatever you want... But fucking retard director forgot that GEM are really important. And the system is about the same just new bonus. Also good look trying to buy these new t4 lv10 gem, Buy new Relic book, Hone, Advance hone, Trans and elixir. All at the same time..
