You see, we thought that elves casually swimming to random islands was a dumb move, when in reality they were ordered to go and chill on those islands, so when they eventually fell they could be like "listen dude, I know you went to war and saw your friends die but... I've been living here for like 2 years so... this island is mine now"
the dwarves actually did hit their island max population due to their building style -- they build in squares, making circular islands(and generally all small spaces) bad for them
@@kiboma4209 not really, their weaknesses kind of outweigh their strengths, their good equipment is basically useless to them because they cant get high populations due to strict building codes. They could only manage to be successful if they had vast open areas compared to the other races.
What if you did this again, but you also added a spinner for what happens to the island? Like, making it Corrupted, dropping a bomb, sinking it, making it enchanted, giving the inhabitants a trait, etc. I feel like that would add yet another element of chaos to an already chaotic scenario.
My favorite things about your videos that other people don't do. Are that you don't interfere with how things are going and you let it play out till the end! Keep up the great content sir! PS the commentary is gold!!!
The elves going to other kingdoms islands when their sank was all part of the strategy, then when they get destroyed the elves immediately found a new village.
A cool idea might be to do another circle island world - but destroy all four corner islands from the beginning, scattering each race into random locations. Could make for some interesting stories.
The way the elves stole the islands was from them swimming to neutral islands. Once that one was killed by someone else there were already colonists there ready to go.
@@TanukiTracks and with it being islands they would have to send a boat well half the islands were took by elves because they swam there a while years ago
"How are the Elves taking over instantly like that?" Turns out, The elves spreading to the Islands of other races was a very strategic move. The Elves were already there and weren't at War with anybody, So anytime an island was defeated, The elves could easily conquer entire islands without so much as raising a weapon. The Elves knew they couldn't win in a Head on fight so instead they just waited for the perfect moments to take over other Islands.
Imagine if you lived in this world and you didn't know how to swim. Also I think the elves kept taking islands so much was because they got hit, so the other races islands had a few elves on them that took it before a settling ship could come from the other races islands.
I've only been subscribed for a week but your content really gets my brain going, I know this comment will drown but honestly this type of content is really a new exciting, like this channel is genuinely the best world box sim content creator out there, plus the voice sounds like that one famous actor
I have an idea every 20 years spin a wheel to either make one of the 25 islands bigger or smaller ( spin 2 wheels for big or small and which island gets modified)
fun fact warriors or soldiers cant set up new colonies and sense elves already had civilians on those islands they were able to build a settlement there and take control over the island before orc or dwarven or human civilians could
Just found this channel a couple days ago and love it, I've watched most, maybe 80% of the videos so far. Just wanted to say you're doing a great job and can't wait for more content. I would love to see you do a video where you use a GOT or Witcher Map Edit: also the avatar map was awesome another of those would be cool
Do this but all of the islands are connected by 1x1 land bridges to form a giant grid, and drop small bombs as well as sinking the islands and their connectors. This way people will actually go places and attack instead of just staying in the same place.
Using a grid system for new videos sounds like a good idea, on a normal map it might be easier to hit more than one tribe at once, islands sounds good too
If you think about it, the elves are just planting Sleeper cells on other island, the moment when the original occupiers are destroyed they take the island.
I like this concept, it makes me think of a movie idea, imagine primordial civilizations had a gambling game and chose a planet to play a Battleship game but with thousands of circular islands instead of ships, and let the humans evolve to golden age to wage war against other islands, and every 20 years an island would sink.
Your island being sunk is like rolling the monopoly man.if there’s not a lot of properties owned good but if everything is owned you’re landing on you or someone else
It actually worked out really well that the elves just hang around other races islands. They weren't at war with anybody, until the final parts so that means they could just build their own cities at the ravaged islands almost instantly after it was destroyed. It looked dumb, since it was unproductive at hindsight. But it turned out to be quite the plan!
Another video idea is to add another spin wheel for "natural disasters" that could range from the most devastating sinking a island or spawning a volcano on it to freezing it or spawning mobs on it. If you make all the races the same then it would make them taking occupied islands actually worth it too. Like a nation is down to one island but makes a comeback by taking a island weakened by a zombie hord or something.
I have a worldbox challenge for you: Using volcanoes, meteors, earthquakes, and seeds, you can create an entire world without having to use the full tool. My challenge is for you to place down a bunch of people on a small area of land, and then expand that land using the natural disasters, but the more natural disasters occur, but you can’t let the natural disasters kill your people. Basically it’s a game of balancing expanding the map and not killing off the population, can you do it?
Another video idea. Have 30 to 40 islands race's in the corners but have to Wheels of random running one that makes a costal bridge and one to blow the island up. Also maybe have another wheel for which island gets corruption
genius idea. you still got it. i'd watch several more iterations of this idea, the battleship idea was da bomb (heh, get it?). the elves ai/luck winning it was amazing! you could try the same idea with traits instead of bombs.. or have you done that already?
You should do a island one again but this time with rebellions active. I’m not a huge fan of the orcs cause they always WIN but I mean with rebellions it might make it nicer, and if you can with 50 islands
Play the battle ship sinking game with Mellon but instead of ship it's Islands and it has a shot limit and the one who has more population after all the shots are gone, wins
You see, we thought that elves casually swimming to random islands was a dumb move, when in reality they were ordered to go and chill on those islands, so when they eventually fell they could be like "listen dude, I know you went to war and saw your friends die but... So you're saying the elves used squatting rights as their defense?
Pretty much every race: Damn it the elves tricked us again!
They were like "one elf here and one other elf here one here and there and on that island and this island. Island number 1-25
The orcs be like "pekepoke
the dwarves actually did hit their island max population due to their building style -- they build in squares, making circular islands(and generally all small spaces) bad for them

the elves piggybacking off of others' wars was so funny

The Elves the second a village is destroyed:
It’s a free real estate.
I loved when the elves snatched the old dwarf island right from the humans.
25 islands, all 4 races, every 20 years two random islands get connected by a land bridge.
36 would be better cuz you can make each race get 6 islands
@@ThemeRBLX 4 x 6 = 24 so no if you did 36 each race would have 9

Every human that ever existed: Column
Gorg: Vertical row
The fact that the orcs killed 300+ elves is amazing
Now I'm curious how taking territory works. Wonder why they didn't take the island?
I think its because no civilians were present. Only civilians can make cities, soldiers will just sit there.
