sorry to be so off topic but does anyone know a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the login password. I would love any help you can give me.
@Jeffrey Cayden thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
brother, this is a better video than most on the same subject and i'll explain why. with your video you are straight to the point and your delivery is more understandable to non technically schooled people such as myself lol. i would have liked to see you fire a second 9mm into the gel and catch it. since the 9mm did the best in the paper plates, it probably would have bested the 10 mm in the gel as well had it not gone off to the side.
Thank you for the feedback! I'm preparing the same video, but with hollow points. Just trying to find some hollow points in 45 acp and 40 s&w. Glad you enjoyed the video! Stay safe 🇺🇲
@@toolsoffreedom407 sometimes the cheapest way, ie 9mm 115 gr fmj, is the best way. there is so much talk about over penetration and property or innocents getting hurt using fmj. while this is a viable possibility i have yet to see a single documented case of this actually happening. on the other hand i have heard of plenty of cases where property was damaged or innocents getting hurt simply because the shooter missed his intended target and hit someone or something he wasnt shooting at, and this can happen no matter what the round is. ive also seen videos where what is considered average 9mm 115 gr range ammo, out penetrate hard cast and extreme penetrators, and even some good 357 mag loads, so the argument can be made that a 9mm loaded with 115 gr fmj, considering it's so called over penetration would be better for defense against large dangerous animals including bear, than a lot of high priced marketed ammo.
You're absolutely right. Testing is not always 100% accurate. Sometimes these can be way off. The 10mm should have been the best one of these, but it wasn't. As for all north american animals, 9mm will do the trick. You just need a couple of shots on a bear or so. The best chance for home defense in my opinion is birds hot. A hot bird shot load will do so much damage to an intruder at 10 yards or less, and it loses most of its power once it comes into contact with most surfaces. As it is great, it isn't always lethal depending on shot placement and the individuals body. A fatter dude will have better odds of surviving birdshot. But most of the time criminals will be in decent shape as they need to be fast to escape! Lol
@@toolsoffreedom407 i agree with the bird shot. people should know that a load of birdshot, weighs as much as a slug or load of buckshot, its just broken into smaller pieces and at self defense range the pattern doesnt really widen that much
The plates should actually be stationary, the bullets are applying force and pushing the bundle forward as its traveling forward so the test is somewhat skewed
THE PLATES ARE NOT SECURE THEY LIMP WRIST THE ROUND ON IMPACT MINIMIZING THE ENERGY DUMP.... INSTEAD OF PENATRATING THEY ARE JUST PUSHING THE PLATE ACROSS THE TABLE...TRY TEST WITH PLATES SECURED.
Good video. Simple and to the point. As stated a penetration test, not a damage or stopping power test. Definitely going to check out your others. But I die a little every time you rack the slide like that. Personal peeve of mine....
In my judgment 40 is better than 9 made bigger hole than 9 and penetrated more than 45 also the damage of a paper plate 40 slightly bigger than 45,and soft gel 40 cal.penetrated more than 9 and 45,eventhough 10mm is most powerful of all but accirding the law inforcement agency 10mm has excessive recoil not easy to shoot that is why FBI did not use 10mm
@@toolsoffreedom407 Sorry when I wrote that I didn’t realize the bullets are round nose I thought they weren’t expanding and just zipping through your gel.
It wouldn't surprise me when you when you at 3 calibers that are pushing thirty five thousand PSI and higher then you got one caliber as pushing a 21000 PSI to forty-five standard pressure it's a bunch of crap you could have at least used + p or 45 super in liar grain bullet I mean Danny's 115 grain zanda 9 mm I'm pretty sure was plus P, the 45 people need to up the pressure on those 45
Watch this same test using only Hollow points!

@Harvey Aryan instablaster :)

@Jeffrey Cayden It worked and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much, you really help me out !
@Harvey Aryan No problem :)
Use underwood 10mm to get real 10mm ballistics 180 grain at 1250 to 1300 fps
The PMC 10mm is notorious for being no better than a standard 40 cal loading. It’s really pitiful.
What baffles me is the fact that something as soft and flimsy as paper plates can distort a round that much
I carry all 4 at different times. .40 and 10mm for the woods and the other 2 for EDC
10mm is the most penetrating round out of these
Why bother shooting gel with fmjs? Use defense ammo next time, and a full size. 40!

Birdshot, birdshot buckshot buckshot. In that order!

I see what you're saying, but it's the same for all the bullets fired. They all had the same con.

40 isnt better than 9 they both have their advantages, get off your knees stop sucking the 40
You respect my opion,I don't know you don't dicted me to stop me,who you to ducted me,
The.40 have 2 inch barrel them all less velocity
Its a 3.5. I have the same one.
Nice test man
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Push your mind more
With better target and camera
Do you have a chronograph to measure the velocities?
I do, but the last time I used it it was acting up. I would have to get a new one.
Dude what’s up with your gel?
No idea why that gel came out like once it cooled down after getting re melted lol. Gotta get new blocks. Only wish they were a little cheaper
@@toolsoffreedom407 Sorry when I wrote that I didn’t realize the bullets are round nose I thought they weren’t expanding and just zipping through your gel.
It's all good. I have the same video using hollow points
Who would you use fmj in gel?! Expecting to catch a round, wtf?..
They can be cuaght as shown in the video ;)
Bias vedio because of the barrel lenght
Barrel length makes no difference for compact vs full size. I already made a video about that.
Stop riding the slide
Thanks for the suggestion but I don't ride the slide when i shoot. You mean when I load one in the chamber? That I could see your confusion.
