Then she after breaking some more glasses looks at a drawing. The drawing was done in a very old time. The girl looking at old painting shows and the lyrics "I don't need batteries", suggests that people who are unstoppable, don't need a constant source of motivation, because if your goals are strong enough, you'll do it, even if the odds are not in your favour. And, you are like a matchstick, a small spark and you can light anything. But then after breaking few more obstacles, the girl comes across a glass. She goes near the glass, indicating that the glass is stronger than previous, and using her old methods won't satisfy her. She then licks the glass indicating that, she has put a mark on the obstacle, and she will prepapre for a newer method to break the glass. She does find a newer method, and breaks the glass. And, the reason she was jumping indicates her actions that involved- not stopping at that point, and challenging herself to fight with more. The people keep bringing obstacles, because without them, we can never know who is stoppable and who is not Ultimately, the whole video goes with breaking obstacles with no ending. Why do people find this song empowering???? I related to this song most at my most broken state. Why do people find this song empowering???? I related to this song most at my most broken state. The lyrics are clearly displaying someone who is in turmoil and desperately lonely because they don't feel like they're allowed to take their armor off and let people know them. Like them must appear perfect and unstoppable. This song is so sad. Even the "Porsche with no brakes" line. You know what happens to a Porsche with no brakes? It crashes at top speed. The people inside are injured or killed. Anyone who thinks this is empowering doesn't pay attention to any of the lyrics except part of the chorus.
