awesome solar fields track :D my favourite at ozora this year f'sure.... wish i could visit spintopia and more, but 'fraid studies are rearing their head this coming year :/ many many awesome moves mate till we spin again... keep on rippin :P
I did hoops mostly so far.. double staff is what I want to build a fire show with. Hoops are great fun too especially for dancing but I find the staffs visually more interesting for a show. Nowhere yet with staffs to put up video yet, but going to Goa for a month so hopefully I'll get a lot better there :)
@P3nguinDarknes5 thx, brother =) don't have time to find the exact tracks this moment, but the artists r solar fields for the ambient stuff at the beginning, and tetrameth for the the glitch and psychedelic trance...... peace!
i build my own double staffs (actually, i build double staffs for pretty much everyone in my local area-- and i'm quite proud to say that most ppl agree that they're the best double-staffs they've ever used!)..... typically about 60cm of 65mm wicks..... i also make the staff covers u see (they come in 8 colors now!)..... would be happy to build u a pair, since this is still a from-home business for me, the price is excellent for the product u get.....
You are a pleasure to watch and learn from! Thank you for putting up these videos, they are really inspiring to me as I just started out with double staffs. May I ask, how did you get that grid on your wall so accurately? I'd like to make a similar one for me at home.. thanks!
@tubeneep the circles have a radius of .5m and 1m respectively.... so if u get a nail and put it in the wall at ur center and then a piece of string of the appropriate length with a pencil on the end of it, u can draw urself a circle..... hope that makes sense! =)
hah, no burning man for me this year, am heading to europe in a couple of months for the summer festival season over there..... it's the last year for BOOM apparently, then ozora and wherever else the wind takes us =) stoked to hear ur getting into the doubles, they're by far my favorite prop.... much love and happy spinning!
Okay I haven't found a space for the circles yet, but I've been making new staffs and doing lots of practice in front of a round mirror which really helps too. And I've done fire now as well recently. So much getting into double staffs. My background is hoops and then double hoops which I still do. Don't have any staff videos up yet but still learning a lot from yours, so please keep them coming! Can you tell me the staff & wick size you use? Just made 65mm x 70cm wicks but they feel heavy..
@islisis zomg, u were at ozora!?.... so high on my list!..... ahhh would be so awesome if u came to oz for just one party......... earth freq would be amazing!....... much love yo!

@bafanamusic well the grid is a pretty fundamental part of my training regime anyway, only fair that it gets to be in the vid =) and thanks, man!.....
