And whilst my Race prepped track only heavily modded R1 could reach 380 after those very very deep mods..

obviously . No Stock R1 can reach 380, mine had engine internals changed and fully weight shed carbon-fibre race fairings, and with larger Cams, Velocity Stacks, and a larger air box, it also had a drag specials custom swingarm that i could change out for drag races, and it was built to speed i had touched 400 with the sprocketing done. It takes time to accelerate but for a bike aimed at the max top speed, that didn't matter, whenever i wished too, i could replace it to stock sprocketing and swingarm for normal asphalt racing.
And btw, your brother might've owned 8-10 bikes, i only owned 2 (a supermoto and the race only r1), but for article writing and at track days and track test rides, I've ridden literally all bikes made under the sun today (except some from the 90s).

5:21 inline 4s can turn faster, but in terms of acceleration and top speed, V4S are way way ahead, there's a reason these are the cream of the crop of MOTOGP , ayush..
What a load of bullshit, nothing is exclusive to a type of engine, V4 series is way more lighter than pretty much any 1000cc bike, v4R have a dry weight of 165kg whilst producing 235 HP, it destroyed everyone on SuperBike Championship, to the point that they have to reduce the power output. Its power to weight ratio.

Bro panigale is one of the best bike to do tracks but not the best bike.
Because as a skillful rider yourself you know that acceleration is not the only thing you need on tracks
Sure better acceleration helps in exiting the corner fast though but handling , braking stability and agility also matters on track.
Better acceleration is not all related in exiting corners, the power delivery at low speed matters be a you need to slow at corners. Hence the R1 of Rossi and Fabio Quataro is the god of cornering and have more championship than the Ducati riders.
Acceleration helps in the straights only.
