This scenario doesn't make an exception to the normal ZM rules that limits dreadnoughts to 1 per 1,000 pts, so DC's list wasn't technically legal. That said, it was a cracking battle report - thanks for putting it together, guys!

I’d say during the game my Contemptors were pretty pants, they fluffed their attacks consistently and dropped wounds rapidly 😂 To get to 2k we had to use pretty much all the non vehicle NL we have currently in the studio, so it was all hands on deck!
Since this is in cooperation with GW: do we now have a right pronunciation for Contekars? Also: So fun to see a new unit in a report to feature them. That’s the way to do it.
Yes, i mean they're not even BS5 and their weapons' load out is lacking. Honestly perdition weapons are meh and not really worth it since no way to get ap2 unless your just attacking regular tactical. Then again Sanguinary guard is competing with the Dawnbreaker Cohort and honestly are just better going by rules

Why the bollocks Sanguinary Guard were not in the main Liber Astartes book from the start is rather mind boggling considering how they are probably THE iconic unit for BA before Death Company were a thing. Also, Konrad Cruise? Does he also have to wear lifts?

I find the SG Rules a bit of a disappointment, they seem to be missing something... Maybe furious charge or rage, possibly a refractor field. Compared to other army bodyguard units they seem a little lackluster. It was a good battle report 👌 Look forward to more content.

ZM also limits you to 1 per talon. But, as seen by the change to split which sections have a ceiling, sometimes rules are worth discarding.
Yeah it was a Narrative game and when we read the fluff felt the Night Lords were much more prepared for the assault so made sense
