The final is this saturday, its friday today in Sweden so tomorrow evening.
My favorites are:
Liamoo.
Maria Sur.
Cazzi Opeia.
Jacqline.
I think Dotter is overrated and made the final because of her song Bullet Proof, cant really say I liked that one either because all I heard was Voulez-Vous and this year her sexy dance moves kind of didnt go with what she was singing and the staging reminds me of Loreen from last year but with a piano instead of the LED screens.
Also Danny went to the final because of his other Melodifestival entries and that his well known in Sweden. This song and preformace sounds to me like any other Danny song but with the lack of dancing compared to the other songs of his.
Jay Smith was one of my favorites before I heard the song, I love his dark voice but its not for country music, its more for Metal and Hardrock. I listen to his covers of Like A Prayer, Enter Sandman that he did when winning Idol Sweden in 2010. But I still have this song on my playlist.
Smash Into Pieces sounded like their last years preformance but not as good staging as last year, the song is good but not my favorite.
Annika Wickihalder and Lisa Ajax, if we in Sweden going to send a powerballad their voices are amazing for that, I wouldnt complaine if any of them won.
Markus & Martinus, nice technobeat song but a little too much of that, too much happening on a very dark stage that u can barely see anything except for the light that go on and off all the time, Air from last year was better, and not sure if Sweden is willing to send Norwegian twins to try and win Eurovision, I think that would be more a win for Norway than Sweden.
Jacqline both staging and song reminds me of Unicorn from last year and Fuego from 2018, it gave me that vibe. Still one of my favories.
Medina and Cazzi Opeia, I did put Cazzi as one of my favorites. Both entries are fun and great songs but I think they both will end up as we in Sweden call en sommar plåga which means that they will be played all summer everywhere.
Maria Sur, great voice and great dancer and one of the two that get my highest points on saturday. The other one being........
Liamoo, didnt think I was going to like the song but I do and it has grown on me more and more. The staging is the best of the finalist and gives more of a show than a preformance. Maria Sur or LIAMOO to Eurovision.
My absolute favorite didnt make the final...... Scarlet - Circus X. Too bad.

I'm with Ty, Que Sera is one of my favourites as well. It is just such a fun song. 🥳 I also really loved Cazzi Opeia (but i watched the live performance) I just thought it was so adorable. 🧚♀Liamoo is another one you have to see live. The firebending going on is pretty unbelievable. 🔥
Why does no one like Liamoo's song from abroad?? He has the absolute best song in Melodifestivalen that fits in Eurovision! He will win!🐉🔥

Really wish you could react to some Smash Into Pieces. As a new fan I'm hooked. And now I've learned the different meanings of their 2 "Mello" songs. The previous one "Six feet under" is a personal song to the singer and "Heroes are calling" is a band song that fit into their own made up "universe" going back since... well, I'm not sure if it's from the beginning but years and years, which is kind of a futuristic apocalyptic game world with Apoc aka the drummer as the main character. Cool music videos.

Totally agree about the Jay Smith song and how it should’ve been a rock song. He won Swedish idol in 2010 and really had one of the best runs ever in the competition,
breaking through with his fantastic rock voice. Y'all should check out a video of his audition and his version of Like a prayer, incredibly strong performances

1. Annika Whichialder, because I loved her when she was competing last Saturday.
2. Medina, Because it’s so festive
3. Lisa Ajax, Because I loved her sense I was 5 and she is SO GOOD ❤❤

Annika would be my winner, the best voice of the whole eurovision season imo. The song is like an anthem, I love it. Other songs are great but yeah she is the best for me.

@@NoOne-ku4bo I’m thinking more like 7th probably, she’s one of my favourites but I could see her flopping somewhat in the televote and I dont know if the staging stands out enough for her to get a really strong jury score

Hope you'll watch it and react to it all, to the performances, the interval acts, the voting results, because the performances and stagings etc are so much part of the whole experience of Melodifestivalen.
Yessss! We only listened to the songs for our predictions! We will be completely surprised with the live vocals, performances, and staging for today's show! We are watching the full Melodifestivalen on our Patreon page! (All acts, intervals, voting, etc!) And we have watched ALL of the National Final shows so far this season :) Absolutely loving them!!

My top 3 are Liamoo, Cazzi and Smash into pieces.
Why? Liamoo reminds me of Imagine Dragons which I LOVE, Cazzi just makes me happy and Smash into pieces, like I’ve said before I need more rock in Mello/Eurovision. I think all these 3 are different but I loved their staging.
They don’t have the wow Factor for me but I love them all in their different ways.
Also like Maria Sur, Medina, Danny and Dotter.
All songs are pretty generic but I’m ok with these finalists. No clear winner though.

@@tktoptunes I don’t want to spoil anything but I’m sure you will love the twin’s staging. The staging makes the song better for me. Maria Sur also had great staging that fit the song and her. Medina was a lot of fun on stage. It’s a summer bop.
I won’t be able to watch the final live. Have my own concert to perform tomorrow (Orchestra Concert) We will do an instrumental version of Tattoo just because it’s Mello final at the same time.

I hope Medina, Smash into pieces or M&m win. Dotter is a bit bland and boring to me. Medina would be so different for Sweden and it's such a party. Same for SiP. And m&m just have the best performance and a very enjoyable song
