Jeff I think the more you help people get into the hospital and keep the pressure on the hospital to treat them eventually they will have no choice but to take care of them. This has been in the dark for far too long. Maybe if it's brought out then people will see the need and advocate for those who need the care. Kinda like the squeaky wheel saying. So please keep doing what you do, you are making a difference! Things can't be fixed if no one knows it needs fixing. One person at a time is better than not one person. Blessings 🙌
And that's why they shouldn't go to the hospital alone. If they have someone to advocate for them and fight for them then the hospital would be more inclined to take them in. I had to pitch a fit for a homeless vet who was dieing of brain cancer. The V.A. hospital wasn't doing shit for him and I had to threaten to call in channel 10 news. They jumped after that and even gave him a helicopter medic ride back to Texas where he could be with his family when he died. Sometimes that extra voice can move mountains ⛰.
Jeff, Thing to keep in mind is that hospitals are businesses. It takes a huge amount of money, talent and people willing to donate in order to keep the lites on and serve those in need. Insurance or the lack thereof is usually the first obstacle upon entry. Most have a percentage of charity care in their budget, but unfortunately not everyone can get free care on demand. Our government seems to have unlimited funds to cater to and shelter illegal aliens, yet our own citizens in need are often not served. I know first hand what it is like in foreign countries where being a non citizen in need requires you posting money before you get past the front door. I had a detached retina requiring immediate surgery to save my eye 2 years ago. Luckily my Costco Visa Card paid the bill and My sight was saved. Not everyone is as fortunate. I am sure people who create self inflicted harm to their bodies, are not given priority, especially with no resources to pay. We just cannot be all things to all people. Life is just not fair.😢
"Our government seems to have unlimited funds to cater to and shelter illegal aliens, yet our own citizens in need are often not served." Even more "unlimited funds" to the tune of $trillions to destroy other nations, while its own people are starving, needing medical care, shelter, etc.
With you, there might be hope for humanity. Brave soul. You have a gift. You are using your gift for the good of mankind. What could be more rewarding? You put yourself out there. Thank you!
Looks like they would have a separate building just for sores like that . instead of turning people away from the hospital. thanks Jeff for keeping us updated on everyone.
Hi Jeff just seen your post on the TV. Hope jess and keslie are doing well. Bumped into Amber Jeff like to see her again. Be waiting for your next interview. Nice drive through Jeff. Steve from England
It's weird that they treated Jess so differently at Jefferson. Why so many roadblocks with Kelsie? Her tendon looked like a stalk of celery and they were going to throw her back on the street. She would've lost both her arms in a couple weeks at the rate the infection was spreading.
Honestly, they gave Jess a bunch of problems to. But she set up her hospital bed up through Prevention Point. The doctor I spoke to Had no compassion at all. I had to curse him out. They almost kicked me out of the hospital, but it worked
There needs to be a political movement to influence the legislators and administrators to prevent people from becoming vegetables and dying from disease on the street due to cartel controlled drugs. Years ago, mental institutions, jails and prisons were implemented in a much more helpful way although they were not perfect. Nevertheless, allowing people to continually abuse themselves to mis-"use" drugs and to poison the environment must be stopped. We must stand for clean and healthy social standards and reverse the system that is killing our people and destroying our once clean cities.
Gretna Middle of waiting for somebody to pick me up to take me to the grocery store real quick and I found you so how are you glad to see you're out here today you are a wonderful person sincerely your wonderful fan
Great tour, stories and updates Jeff, thanks 🙏🏻 Those sores are really bad. I saw a docu about it, people are slowly rotting away while living. Those sores are living hell. Keep up the good work you're doing, those people need every help they can get. Have a great weekend everybody 🫶🏻 Sending love and strength to those who need it 🍀💚
The system we live in is running out of energy. The sky s literally falling down. The wounds dont heal well its not only happening because of certain drugs. Things are not the same since 2019. The days withoutt Sun are too cold for this season. Good luck everyone. Jeff keep doing a great job. Check for instante in a night video the car lights reflections are larger. All configuration is upside down.
Hi Jeff..I do lots of things in my life .I have an allotment and love going for walks and swimming in the sea when I go on holiday ....But it got me thinking about all the lost souls out there in a drug twilight zone... How sad they are missing out on the wonderful things in life ....If only they could see the light ....Thanks Jeff for your kindness.💟
I couldn't have said that better myself God bless you dear you're so right I enjoy my life I'm so happy have been 4 years I treasure that and I thank God everyday for it
Don't stop being A Voice and Advocate for all those that need you most. Without you doing all you do for them they probably would not try and get help. For their wounds or recovery.
All of the Hospitals need to get past their judgements and recognize the people's need for help, clearly, the addicts lives and limbs are a matter of life and death!! 😢
@@Jeffshighonlife that's so unfair. is it a money thing? if someone who had cancer wanted to get help for an arm that was tore up from the cancer, they wouldn't turn them away. I understand how frustrating this can be and I really hope it gets better and easier for people to get the help they need. the hospitals should not throw shame at those willing to come in but praise them for doing so!! where's the humanity!!
What about setting people up with the patient advocate you mentioned? The guy you met when Jess was in the hospital? Can he help get people admitted? There has to be a place people can go to get these wounds taken care of. What about the hosital social worker? Don't get frustrated Jeff.
I have been using the guy I met in Jess hospital room. That’s the Matt guy I talk about. I’m just going to have to speak up and advocate for them when they want help. It’s a little more difficult and time consuming but that’s ok
Prayer for Kelcie: Father in heaven, we ask in Jesus' name that you heal her physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Help her get into a long-term recovery program and give her the faith, hope, love and courage to overcome the vicious cycle of addiction and its horrible lifestyle. Kelcie, you have us on your side. You are not alone. Love you.

Jefferson hospital did everything they could to not admit her. It’s a shame and it shouldn’t be that hard. Hopefully it changes soon

Agree
I agree that advocacy is so important for these people
It’s hard to see how this country is being taken away. Your doing gods work. You do serve the lord. God bless you Jeff.
Thank you

It’s always a money thing. But the doctors just figure they will just get high again so what’s the point.
@@Jeffshighonlife so why not work them, get them admitted and get them in a program! So frustrating! No absolute answers! So Sad!
I was going to ask you Jew Amera was doing I’m glad you mentioned her
