Great video. How Did you manage to get the airbag on uniformly? I tried like 20 times, and no success yet. The bottom spring keeps getting sucked in and making the horn go off continuously.
As said In the video it’s easier to use something long and round instead of a flat head screw driver due to the shape, a small Philips might do the trick
@@owensautotips Getting the airbag off is no problem. I can’t seem to get it back on properly haha. Because every time I press it back on, the bottom part of the airbag gets stuck. I think the spring at the bottom of the airbag doesn’t release making the horn go off as soon as I connect the battery. It was driving me crazy. I solved it for now by taping of the bottom so it doesn’t make contact with the horn. I’ll try again this weekend.
@@SamuelSieben oh sorry, try angling it so the bottom slots in first then push the top home. Unfortunately I haven’t came across this as mine went back in smoothly. Hopefully it all goes smoothly next time for you !
Thank you! Very helpful video.
Would you mind sharing the part number please.
Being trying to look for it online but can't find the exact one.
