I go for tank if I know I can itemize easily against enemy team. For example against full ad comps tank yasuo is op because you can go armor boots, thornmail, twinguard etc. But it also depends on your own team comp if you already have enough dmg tank is always good
I would recommend playing slower, this means that in teamfights try not to take the first knockup or opportunity you see to engage. Play a fight a bit more like an adc would. But also sometimes you need to just go in and die to win the teamfight, especially if you are behind.
I like it more, having lethal tempo rather than grasp allows for more outplay potential in teamfights + the defensive runes and build still let you be tanky enough
