Her one and only brother Pastor Murphy Pace III died in 2011 [I believe] her father also died.. Then last year, her best friend and a genius of a choir director who directed the choirs on all her CDs through the 80's and 90's Dr Maurice Culpepper all went on to glory.. So the word death probably sent something through her as we saw..

I bought my first CD of LaShun back in 1994. I never heard any of her music but I was familiar with the record label and had CDs from other artists plus I liked the name of the songs so I decided to buy it. I wore that CD out I have followed her music ever since. So many times when going through some tough times in my life I always knew I would get through whatever I faced.. All I needed to do was pray and pop in a CD of LaShun CD and I would be alright. The CD this song was featured on is my all time favorite CD of the many that I own. I don't think a week goes by where I play this CD. I have a copy of it in my house and one in the car just in case. It broke my heart when she passed away. As one of her many fans I am so very sad that she is gone and will miss that amazing talent that she shared with us but I know where she is now and she has more than earned her ticket to heaven. We love you LaShun and thank you for sharing your amazing gift with us you will never be forgotten.
