lots of legit reasons why they didn't win more than they should have - these days the things that conspired against Leeds back then don't exsit in football anymore - Leeds were the first modern professional team of the era playing at a time when the FA & Football League was still run by a bunch of amatures who despised Revie's "no stone left unturned" approach and the home work he put in preparing his team for matches - now it's given in todays game
Don Revie should never have done that TV interview with Clough, sadly Brian the showman completely destroyed Don's reputation as one of football greatest managers. You can see from this interview he was a decent likable successful man who looked after his players when many managers didn't.
@Wildfox01 Yes it was physical. Leeds enjoyed that. Revie was not most honest man in football. His team were a reflection of that. A mixture of bribery and butchery.
Liverpool fan - and I love watching that Leeds team in their early 1970s pomp. So many truly great players.
Don Revie was simply the best manager R.I.P.
Never forgotten ❤❤❤
The Don..... what a fantastic manager.
the god of leeds united rip don
God bless the don 🙏
One of the greatest sides ever seen in this country, and probably the finest eleven before the premier league along with Liverpool of the late 70s.
Great team but should have won more than they did
Should have won
League Title 1965 1971 1972
FA Cup 1970 1973
European Cup 1973 1975

I had the privilege to nurse don in his last year and hol
And a half a gentleman till the end xx
Clough' "good lad" comment in that interview was the best put down.
@@gladyspatrick6911 "hol"?
Not good enough to win in Europe. Will never shake off the Dirty in Leeds. Seem to be somehow proud of the way they tackled.
Robbed in European Cup final of 75. Bayern were 2nd best througout.
