In my headcannon I like to think that Helga was very against the idea of splitting up the students and putting them into houses, she didnt see why there was ever a need for such a thing. So while the others just took to fill their quotas, she took all of those that were eager to learn regardless of whatever background they came from or whatever special attribute they possesed. Because at the end of the day those kids needed to be taught and as long as they worked hard they would always be welcomed in her classroom

I’m a Ravenclaw, and I hate it when people say that Hufflepuff’s are all stupid. One of my best friends is a Hufflepuff and she’s one of the smartest people I know. This is a beautiful tribute and Hufflepuffs are just amazing.
Each and every soul in this universe is so precious. ♡ No matter in which house you are, which personality type you have or whatever. What matters is to have a heart full of love and fill this world with kindness and all other beautiful, wonderful, loving things. And to always create. Because if humans aren't creating they're destroying… Your friend is lucky to have such a loving and supporting person like you in his/her life :)

I'm a slytherin and one of my beat friends is a hufflepuff and I love them so much. They have changed my life so much that I can not express with words. They are one who finally convinced me that I'm not the bad guy. If it wasn't for them I probably wouldn't have gotten as far. And I know that being kind people often step all over you so I always make sure my hufflefriend is as happy as can be. They will always be one of the best people I meet

Hufflepuffs are incredibly loyal to what they value, this could be certain morals, beliefs, and people. Perhaps even an item. These things don't have to be simply good or evil. But valued. Hence, why I've always thought Hufflepuffs aren't required to be the most 'good' people. Simply be passionate enough about something to be loyal to that. To love and believe in something unconditionally. Not out of fear, but love.
Frankly, the potential variety of eligible Hufflepuffs is staggering.
Characters like Newt: his loyalty to creatures, his beliefs of creatures, and views on muggle prejudices.
To people like fucking Hannibal Lecter, his (unhealthy, obsessive) love and loyalty for Will/orClarice and his dead sister, his loyalty to his own moral compass and... lifestyle.
Loyalty, amongst other things, are some of (if not the most) important aspects of these characters. Their world views, actions, and lives are constructed around their loyalty of those they love.
These characters also couldn't be more different. Both would die out of loyalty.

some people need to be simple. the average but hard working are the ones you should be scared of, not the talented. the kind ones. because those are the people that keep the earth and the society alive. everyone should be proud to be in hufflepuff. not everyone can be extraordinary and outstandingly brave. we are so much stronger than that. there’s independence and uniqueness everywhere, and there’s bravery in being kind. i used to be so disappointed with my house and constantly retook the test and tried to convince myself that i wasn’t in hufflepuff, but the truth is, we should all want to be in hufflepuff, because it’s the house of strength, kindness, hard work, loyalty and justice. without these qualities, the world wouldn’t exist how it does and there would be no friendship, no love. i’m proud to be a hufflepuff, i truly am, and it means so much for me to say that.
And this is the reason why it is important that all four houses to exist, as they complement each other and are part of one great mosaic…

I'm a hybrid a house, Gryffinpuff. I always get gryffindor with a close score to hufflepuff. Not the point though, the point is im glad to be a hufflepuff and a gryffindor

Maybe they are just jealous, because some other thinks that edit in this video is a terrible, or maybe they don't like Hufflepuff, because some people says that Hufflepuff is a weakest house ever, but of course we all knew (or some told) that it's not true.
Hufflepuff isn't always weak house, when it comes the different between being a friend and loyal partner. The friendship can be fierce and fearless as they are not afraid to use a toil, like Ravenclaw and Gryffindor, which i found something bit similar to this house.
For me Hufflepuff is something mixed by Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, when it comes to a students who already found a courage and have their kind as they have their own to be a someone's friend that they can have courage to come out as they can be strong when they can see as good person inside, when it's all that matters who they really are, especially they can be a hard workers when it comes to help, like Tonks, Cedric and Newt for example.
I am Ravenclaw, and i'm still supporting not only Hufflepuff, but also all houses as well. 💙💛

I wanna be a Hufflepuff but when I try Pottermore quiz I got Ravenclaw three times a row.😌Looks like I'm destined to be a ravenclaw
It doesn't matter where Pottermore puts you. It's important to consider how you feel. If you are kind and friendly, you can choose Hufflepuff. ( I'm sure the hat would understand you.😅) Besides, Pottermore always put me to Ravenclaw. There was only a few times when I got to Slytherin.😂 But I feel myself like a Slytherin student. And no matter what Pottermore says.🤷🏻♀️

The traits you consider the most important from a house tell the most about where you'll be put. I always get reminded of people being puzzled why Hermione didn't get put into Ravenclaw, and while it might be a perfect fit given her personal traits, she got into Gryffindor because she herself said that friendship and bravery are more important than books and cleverness. So it depends on what traits you like personally :)
