Portugal is famous for its typical seafood dishes, popular beach destinations, and 16th to 19th century architecture, from when this country was a powerful maritime empire. It's also known for its soccer legends, fado music, historical cities, and port wine.
Well done video on Portugal! My wife and I will watch the rest on the country as we plan our 2 week trip in May! Great presentation, descriptions and cinematography!
Great video. Mafra is so close to Lisbon and Sintra, and yet very few vloggers ever go there. You can even see Mafra from Pena Palace. Read José Saramago's book called Baltazar & Blimunda for a fictional account into the building of this mad structure, built in part to convince the Pope to relocate to Portugal. As for Obidos, there are two big events that are worth checking out if possible: The Obidos Chocolate Festival and the Medieval Festival. Both are great, but the Medieval Festival really does makes you feel like you've gone back a thousand years. Brilliant.
It seems to involve a lot of leg exercise, I think I better start training to have a strong legs now and reserve leg massage after the trip. Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year.:)
You guys did an amazing video. Chose beautiful and different places but somehow you did not visit or mentioned the biggest region in Portugal: ALENTEJO... I’m sure you would’ve enjoyed the beautiful and unique landscapes, typical cuisine, high quality wine and regional products, craft and its people. Maybe next time 😊
We missed it this time, only drove through it! But Evora sounds like a place we would enjoy in that area. Also heard about the beautiful beaches in that region 😊 next time indeed!
@@worldwildhearts Évora does not have a beach, but there is one in Setúbal, which is close by. In Setúbal there are several beaches such as Serra da Arrábida, Sesimbra, Tróia and Comporta where the singer Madonna rode a horse.
Portugal wonderful place to visit, once here please don’t forget to visit the low wages and high tax rate. Also check low crime rate and high traffic death rate. Last but not least try the free healthcare I pay with high tax rate. Have a wonderful stay in Portugal.

Yes we meant the Alentejo Region, beach destinations like Comporta and Porto Covo were recommended by our guides in a Lisbon
The Portuguese islands are by far the best part of Portugal though. 🇵🇹🇪🇺
This video is only about the mainland! Next time we'll make some about the islands ;)
❤️👍
You missed a lot of stunning places further inland!
Definitely many more places to explore ☺️
What do you think of Cascais being a destination and a daytrip from Lisbon?
Also a great day trip option from Lisbon!! Some people love it, others don't. It's a more "fancy" seaside resort town
Beautiful! Jesus Christ loves you all. Watch and Pray with Jesus Redeems/English. God bless you all!
