My bottle only has 10:1 lol I did a ratio calculator online based on the dilution total volume, chose 24:1, got the fl oz for the concentrate, then used a fl oz to teaspoon converter to figure out I can use 4 teaspoons of shampoo to a 17oz bottle mixer and 16 fl oz water. Not perfectly accurate but I paid $11 for two of these mixing bottles vs $14 for one
How long does that bottle last if you shampoo 1x mo. My shih tzu is an in apt tiny shih tzu. I bought Vellus starter kit not knowing it was concentrate
You are in England I'm in nyc. So I have to buy 3 bottles for 3 2 oz Vellus starter kit. How long does each bottle last. Regular water ok or Brita filtered or distilled?
Hi Tamma! We always suggest following the dilution rates on the shampoo bottle, as this will give you the optimum performance of it. This mixing bottle is great, because if you don't use all of the diluted product, you can store it in there. Thanks, Christies Direct
@@tammajamma5820thank you! This helps a lot as I heard from a groomer that it should be diluted for only one wash at a time and discard the rest because bacteria can grow with water in there. How big is the dog that you use your dilution for? We have a large dog 60 pound golden retriever and are in the US and use English measurements.
👎 This is absolutely the wrong way of diluting‼️ Such a measuring scale on the bottles was created by the manufacturer specifically to make you waste more product‼️ This method ignores the size of your dog.‼️ For example, if you need to wash a mini Yorkie, then you do not need 1 liter of mixed liquid, you only need 320-400 ml of water and 20 ml of shampoo mixed in a bowl and this is at a dilution of 1:16 But using this bottle you will spend 900 ml of water and 100 ml of shampoo for one wash🤯 Plus the shampoo won't dissolve because there isn't enough free space left in the bottle to shake. So don't buy those stupid mixing bottles‼️
thank you!

Hi, for a shih tzu, if you fill up a full mixing bottle should last you for 2/3 washes. Regular water is okay for washing!
I suggest research fortified shampoo for fast hair growth.
Nope too much shampoo add one drop such a waste

I use some water in the bottom and one drop of shampoo and shake and there's more room for lather
