I don't use them in batteries that much, I like them because there timer mode. Then stopping and restarting on their own, I just enjoy watching that. It entertains me lol. When they stop at the same time some will start up before others so I try to get it to where the songs will end at the same time, and eventful the different song versions will pair up and stop and restart up at the same time
