What really got me on this video is that when looked at Queen Elisabeth II on the coin...you had stated Rest In Peace! I am from Canada and she was our monarch for 70 years. Thank you for being so respectful!
You along with Mark Wiens, Chopstick Travel, Best Food Ever Review Show, Are doing the great service showing the world these beautiful places and with ubiased views. Fun fact the actress Natalie Emmanuel from Game of Thrones and Fast and Furious fame is of partial Dominican descent!!
I really enjoyed this video. Very informative. The market was vibrant. That callalloo looked delicious and "mother" was so kind giving you the back story about why it's called callalloo and where the little fish in the accra comes from. That's a typical Dominican mother for you. Don't forget to stop by her next time in Dominica. And yes, you must come back. Btw did they tell you this? Dominican mothers love to feed, so you eating makes them happy. By your videos I say you did Dominica justice. Thank you again. Keep on going and we love you from the depths of our hearts.
THANK YOU SO MUCH JHANNEE!! Love your comments and truly appreciate the kindness and so glad you enjoyed the video. I definitely will be back. And Domincan mothers sound like the kind of mother I love best haha. THANK YOU and there is still more to come!!
David this was a great video, and I really love how you are so down to earth. You love the people and you always show your appreciation for them. Please keep being who you are!
This was good to see the Mayor take you on the Market tour....the provisions ... local produce...the tasty foods ..saw you really enjoyed eating..and it was really interesting seeing how cassava bread is made.......A nd I enjoyed seeing the traditional dance...very entertaining......such a lively and entertaining video. I love seeing all markets dosen't matter. Thanks David and Nate ...safe travels.
I'm so happy to see David enjoy all our local food and drink, especially the spice rum! You were looking great with the bandana to blend with the theme of our festivities!
You need to go more up country in Dominica. It looks like you we're exploring Town mostly. There's a place called Keeping it real and I believe you will enjoy the food. If you need someone to really show you around, let me know.
Will be absolutely heading back to Possie on my return trip, especially, on market day, assuming that it is on Saturday. Will ask for Julian Brewster. Informative video. Thanks, my friend ❤ .
Thank you so much 2075vj! I'm one of your biggest fans too. Thank you so much for your support and I absolutely do see and read your comments too! I'm very grateful. Have a really great evening!
Good morning David. First of all, thank you for changing the music at the end of the video. Love your visit to the market (wish they had taken you to the one in Trinidad), where everything is locally grown and fresh from the garden to the plate. The crab callalloo and the salt fish accra looked delicious. Reminded me of Trinidad where we also put pig tail and salt-kind (salted beef) in it as well. So good. Saw the dance but still wish you had shown more of it and/or probably join in too. Lol. So nice of the ex-mayor to take you around. Good thing he reminded you to buy your honey. Very enjoyable indeed. Got my email earlier and saw that soon you would be on your way to Belize. Lots to learn there. So have a safe flight 🛫✈️🛬 and may God continue to bless you always.🙏🛐🇹🇹🇨🇦
lol I changed the music just for you Judy. I admit you were right. I am so glad you enjoyed the video though. I'm leaving to Belize very soon! I can't wait to go. Will definitely be sharing some things soon. I will try to share more of the dance, I think I have a bit more footage, stay tuned for shorts and I will try to release there. Wishing you a blessed week and as always I'm so grateful for your support Judy.
@@Davidsbeenhere wow David, thank you. I am surprised that nobody else noticed the music. See how much attention I give from beginning to end. I did a little bit of research when you announced that you were going to Belize and it's very interesting so I will be anxious to see your videos when they are ready. History is very important because if we don't know where we came from then we may never understand life today. I watched the dance 'short' over and over and I will be looking forward for more. Thank you for the email earlier. So as you are getting ready to go to Belize, I hope everything goes according to plan. Have a safe flight. Be well and may God continue to watch over you and keep you safe. Vaya con dios, mi amigo.🙏🛫✈️🛬❤️🇹🇹🇨🇦
