I think this car is one of the most beautiful models in the world. When I see this model in perfect condition, I feel a sense of satisfaction that cannot be conveyed in words. God, it's so beautiful
I know this is an old video but I want to say thank you for not time lapsing everything, I don’t know much about cars, and I want to eventually build an e30 myself
Very nice project! Such a nice feeling to start fresh and bolt on new parts from the start. I'm still in the process of welding patches and undersealing the car. Definitely gonna follow this series
So glad I have found this channel! Quality over quantity, that is what I go for anyway. Really like the amount of effort you put into your video, great car too!
That paint 🎨 will make this E30 look like the best example I have ever seen. It's going to be stunning! [all our Australian 🇦🇺 examples are cooked by the sun😢 ]
I completely restored my e30 coupe Mtech 1 in 2018 2019, the biggest pain was reassembling the windows and the roof trim/gutter. she's immortal it's dirty thirty
Instantly jealous of the fog lamps.. I was too cheap to splurge for the real deal.. LOL.. I bought some cheap plastic ones for mine.. but I know I will eventually get the glass ones
I tried to live with them but I couldn't, these ones popped up locally for a good price so I bit the bullet and am glad I didn't have to buy them full retail. before I found those though I had ordered glass lenses from an eBay seller. I put those on the plastic ones and they came out really nice actually, I will most likely put those on my other E30.
Awesome stuff. I had the pleasure of driving a very rare red-orange M3 when it was first delivered in the Seattle area in 1989. See one on a British Racing Green is wonderful, excited to see what wheels you will put on. BBS deeper dish than stock with Gold Center? Can't wait to see the full build. Love the lights, but I also dig the European Yellow front Hig beam lights as another set of Foglights.
Looks really cool! One thing regarding the Fasteners- they look great and OEM factory being yellow zinc plated! But in terms of long term resistance IMO they don't last that long! Won't you consider using it the new Zinc flaked bolts in areas like the underneath of the car that is more suitable to corrosion? Just asking as I'm restoring my e30 soon and want it to last as long as possible
Good point, I actually didn't put much thought into it, I just had a ton of yellow zinc hardware on hand and thought it looked good. The worst weather this car will probably see is light rain so I didn't have a huge concern for corrosion like I do my other cars that see lots of rain and occasional salt. I have a bag of zinc flake ones I could swap in though so I might do that at least in the wheel wells
I mostly installed it to get it out of the way and reduce the risk of any scratches while I do other projects in the garage. Just easier to cover the whole car at once
Since it's a bare shell on maxed out jack stands so I could paint it, it's very light and unsteady. I don't want to put a lot of force on it and risk tipping the stands over. Once I can roll it and have it on the lift I'll go around a torque everything and mark it.
Hi, did this British Racing Green exist on the E30 ? I think they offered it on the latest cab versions... or was it a metallic one ? I am a fan of original stock definition... Very very nice bolt new project ! I although regret your choice of lights on the back... Don't take me wrong but they look 'bad taste tuning' to me... I still have an E30 320i Cab from 1992 that I bought in 1995, Mauritius blue with beige leather. Keep the good work going! Regards from Brussels
Hi what a unbelievable Video mate. A great E30 Restoration Project. I am still restoring mine here on UA-cam. Maybe you can check it up too. Following you now! Peace

This is all the content I ever need from UA-cam.
This is exactly what the car I dream of at night. A british racing green E30 with some bronze or gold bbs on it.
Such a pleasure to watch you put this beauty together. Thank you for sharing the process
Very very good job! Thanks for recorded the process. I'll use it to my e30

This is crazy. Just today I was thinking about painting my E30 BRG after I saw a newer BMW X5 in BRG.
You did excelent work!
Hey gorgeous car great video😊
Just found your chanel, Keep up the good work!
looks great! I'm wondering why you would put the hood on before installing an engine?
amazing project and car. nice work. Jumping in on epic Part 1. Would have loved to see what came before. Clearly lots of work on your part.

Where did you get those gold nuts for the top of the coilovers struts?
They look good! 😍
You can buy them from ISC, they're actually titanium
❤my e30
😍
We rarely come across videos like this, really cool, and the bolts on the front fenders, are they zinc plated?
Subscribed too!
wire got stuck on 5:28.
Where did you get the sunroof

awesome! whats the color code
Excellent work, however you have me wondering why you installed the hood (bonnet) before the engine.
I mostly installed it to get it out of the way and reduce the risk of any scratches while I do other projects in the garage. Just easier to cover the whole car at once
Çok temiz işçilik elinize sağlık çok güzel bir E30 doğuyor
İs it the m42 turbo e30 ???
Nothing you put on seems to be tightened properly. Is a torque wrench part of your assembly equation?

Did you have to make the holes bigger in the valance because of the nut and bolt method of installing the lip?
I think I did very slightly
Where did you get that glas sunroof from?
I would like to know where do you source all your parts for the build.
Nice... I hope wheels are gon'a be gold style 5....
Indeed, I hope decent nice OEM BMW alloy wheels ! 😅
Hey man, When you installed your windshield was it a brand new oem seal or an old seal? @skudak
@@joshmatthew9890 it was an old one
How did you get those iron materials?
Is that even save thay back glass?
How much cost to restored this car on that detail?
do you have link to the lip?

setup up dowe lamp ?
Fl bumpers on a pfl car?
Yes
Nobody else worried about the car rocking on the stands lol
Please tell me where you got that sunroof from!
@@OwenRocks-ob6vi I bought it from a friend, a couple companies made them in the 80's, they pop up for sale every once in a while
What website you used to buy the fog lights?
What’s the part number for the sun roof?
There isn't one, it was custom made for the dealership by a local manufacturer in the 80s

Thanks! I painted it green. The paint code is the green that came on the E36 M3 GT.
ОЧЕНЬ КРУТО ! ЖАЛКО ,что какждый не может сделать так со своей е30 в нынешних реалиях
U sound just like vice grip garage 😂
Ещё такие видео будет??🎉🎉
