The bar about Nas just confirms that Nas has always wanted what's best for the culture. Nas even put his show on hold to give props, love, and moment of silence the night Pac died. Nas is one of the GOATs for a reason.

@ I agree it’s too layered to catch everything, but I would still call it impeccable. It is near on impossible for anyone to catch more than he has on a first listen.
I’m not a music artist… but I feel Kenny. I related to this song HEAVY. Keeping my head down, working hard, putting others up while I’m the one that takes the Ls and backstabs. Keep it pushing as I sift through the fakes. Bc when my time comes they not getting a dime. It will come and it’s already begun.
In that last verse about the bitcoin, bank transactions, etc. he’s talking about how someone (possibly Drake) was offering people in Kendrick’s city monetary gain for dirt. Kendrick is saying “they wouldn’t entertain ole boy” meaning nobody would give up anything on him. The crash dummy is referencing the money possibly going to someone reckless and irresponsible who could possibly cause harm to Kendrick or his family. Which is just reinforcing Kendrick not being with any truces with the other side
I can't lie, this reaction brought me back to when the battle was in full swing and you were dropping reactions. I honestly don't even wanna listen to the album until i hear your breakdown of each song. You're GOATED for your reactions Sir 🐐 👑
One element that you're overlooking is that the music is the old song Friends by Whodini. Kendrick talks about people showing their true faces over the beat of a song asking how many of us have REAL friends. I believe every song on this album has a sample relevant to the message of the song. Man at the garden is, ironically, One Mic from Nas
Yall crazy as hell. Make no mistake Em never lost his place. Em is GOATED been GOATED FOR YEARS… the only reason why people won’t give him his flowers is because he whites and hip hop is for speaking on black issues… but EM is that dude.. and I say that as a black woman. If Em and KDOT battled it would be ridiculous
I just realized that the bass is like a heartbeat. This feels like an exposition on what's been on Kendrick's heart this year since the beef and superbowl announcement, etc.

I have listened to this 5 times in a row now with chills every time and I will take the pain each time to hear Kendrick light up and bear his soul! Just fire 🔥
I think there will be another album, but Kendrick's silence doesn't mean he's not listening and seeing everything that's being talked about, so his way of responding is through music, he's not going to sit in an interview and say these things, it's Through his art he shows his feelings, in some moments his duality, and vulnerability, and this album brought me a lot of answers about everything that was said about him after Like That, during and after the battle, and he responds through music. I think he's also bringing the West Coast to the forefront through this album which resonates really well, and the artists that collaborated on it also show that. I knew Kendrick wouldn't like Taylor Made Freestyle, but I didn't know it would be so profound for him, I think it also contributed to the directions and choices he made in battle, and while I thought Kendrick was playing chess with Drake, I was wrong, he was playing chess, but Drake was only a piece on the board and never his real opponent.
It Was Profound For Him Because Snoop Posted It On IG. It Wasn’t The Edibles. Pac Started Picking Up On Snoop & Didn’t Trust Snoop or Ice Cube. Dot Being Betrayed Like Pac Was By A Lot Of People. He Knows Who They All Are.

"Ridin in my GNX with Anita Baker in the tape deck.." I can't understand why this line is not on beat? I just can't wrap my head around it. Kendrick seems to be so into details and that makes me wonder if he said "tape" a bit early on purpose? But why? It's such a set up with the beat drop and everything. I absolutely love this song, listen to it like every day, and this question keeps haunting me... it's such an easy retake , or just a fix afterwards, to move it a bit so it hits on beat. But no, it's there. Too early. Set up by silence and a beat drop. And it's just there. Must be on purpose then right? But why? Why?? Why highlight a hiccup in the flow?? I cant make sense of it. I can't sleep because of this. I wake up sweating, doing all types of calculations in my brain but nothing adds up. Just slam the word "tape" down on the beat drop brother! Let me sleep! @knoxhill Can you explain this please so I can move on with my life and just keep enjoying this brilliant rapper? Its ok if you reach, just help me.

I was thinking the same
Yup
Yesssss!!!!
Plug me , which movie ?
@@4ORCE_NLM1 Any mafia movie lol
Knox has such a niche talent. His rap breakdowns are impeccable, no flaws.
Facts
They're good not impeccable. He misses/misinterprets sometimes but that ok. He seems to respect the culture and that means alot. Besides ain't nobody gon sus out all of Kdot bars. That takes weeks. We all gon be breaking down this album probably til the Superbowl.

Just remember to seek God above all and he will guide you.
Kendrick dropped when I'm about to perform at school, now I have my motivation to do my best lololol
All the best 🎉
Good luck
you got this, gang! 🙌🏻
You can do it! 💯
Do yo thang!!!
"The irony, I think my hard work let Wayne down." Is so hard
Bro this shit is a shot at everyone, I love it. This is fucking hip hop man
He’s done this once before… we will see
In that last verse about the bitcoin, bank transactions, etc. he’s talking about how someone (possibly Drake) was offering people in Kendrick’s city monetary gain for dirt.
You can tell Knox really feeling it when he forgets to pause the track. 😂

I can't lie, this reaction brought me back to when the battle was in full swing and you were dropping reactions.
I honestly don't even wanna listen to the album until i hear your breakdown of each song.
You're GOATED for your reactions Sir 🐐 👑
Anyone else noticed that the image of Kendrick on the album looks similar to a picture of ice cube leaning on his car in the 90s?
Yep. Cube in the DC "Soldier" video that also features Wayne
The music sample is Friends by Whodini... quite fitting...
Plus 2pac sampled it on troublesome and Nas if I ruled the world
I feel like "letting Lil Wayne down" and then referencing Nas right after has to be a reference to J. cole
bars
explain please
@@chrisko9494 j Cole has a song called let nas down

Irony
Kendrick was really speaking his mind in this one, letting everyone what side they on, and keep the same energy!
Damn it's crazy how both the industry switched up on k dot and drake.....
That "sample" from Whodini's "Friends" beat is genius
Always loved that song
Woooow now I hear it!
Came here to say I hear this
Kendrick hit Legendary Rank and started climbing the legend leaderboard. Working his way to Em 😳
Meanwhile Em is slowly but surely working his way down that list....
Yall crazy as hell. Make no mistake Em never lost his place. Em is GOATED been GOATED FOR YEARS… the only reason why people won’t give him his flowers is because he whites and hip hop is for speaking on black issues… but EM is that dude.. and I say that as a black woman. If Em and KDOT battled it would be ridiculous
he passed em in 2017 lmao
I just realized that the bass is like a heartbeat. This feels like an exposition on what's been on Kendrick's heart this year since the beef and superbowl announcement, etc.
Chills chills chills!!!!!!! No joke I have a chronic medical condition and when I get the chills or “goosebumps” it actually causes me pain. But…………. I have listened to this 5 times in a row now with chills every time and I will take the pain each time to hear Kendrick light up and bear his soul! Just fire 🔥
Damn that's dedication.
Wow❤
Feel better ❤
YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD WITH THAT ONE 👏 👌 🎉🎉🎉🎉
i agree 10000%
It Was Profound For Him Because Snoop Posted It On IG. It Wasn’t The Edibles. Pac Started Picking Up On Snoop & Didn’t Trust Snoop or Ice Cube. Dot Being Betrayed Like Pac Was By A Lot Of People. He Knows Who They All Are.

I'm 60 and I feel the same way.
I'm 50! You probably caught that the beat in this song is Friends by Whodini too!!
That’s what makes him great my 59 year old friend he makes music for everyone he doesn’t pacify he electrifies

I honestly have to commend Kendrick. I wanted to say "Drake could never" but honestly, no artist can grab the worlds attention all at the same time. Dude im in South Africa, cape town. And we are all consuming his words at the same time. Thats power man, in November 2024. Wow, epic stuff. Love how its just plain music, no heavy bass but actual passion in the music.
With Em's new album, its selling pretty well throughout the world!

@KnoxHill that bass in the background is from Whodini’s “Friends”…that in itself is a subliminal message!

@25:10
I interpreted that line of money going in the wrong hands of a crash dummy as in somebody who's willing to "crash out" for profit. Wanna be hitman essentially. And it makes sense with the follow up lines about "jeopardize my family and burden the ones who love me". Mourning a loss if the "crash dummy" was successful.
@knoxhill is the absolute GOAT of all time. Music reviews and especially lyrical breakdowns are always the best
Kdot speaking real shit. He needs to be protected if he cpmes up missing from the rich elites. Hes healthy and dont drink and do drugs so hopuflly they dont try and make him dissappear. We need more dudes like him calling these pedos and industry predators out.
The white comedian reference is a shot at Andrew Schulz when he dissed black women when Shxts n Gigs came on as a guest appearance.
The shot is to those two clowns that sat there laughing their asses off while some idiot dismantled their entire career.
I don't think that was big enough because why bring it up now he has said similar things way before then. Also, shxts and gigs are not big enough to catch a stray from kendrick when the song is based around artist. Maybe it is just a random shot at youtubers but doesn't seem to fit the theme of the song
Or Gary Owens
It could also be at drake being a comedian instead of a rapper, talking about Kendrick's wife .
Kendrick just open his mouth, dropping album fire as hell,he talks about past year, somebody pass him Grammy right now 😅😅😅😅😅 fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The reaction I was waiting for!
So actually someone DID vandalize Kendrick's literal mural in Compton! I took it to be very literal
His Album Is FIREEEE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I woke up and saw Kendrick dropped and instead of sitting in bed for a bit like I usually do I immediately hopped out of bed and got on my computer to hear it.
Kendrick is a chosen one, spiritually awake, we're entering aquarius, THE LIGHT OVER SHINES THE DARK FOR THE NEXT 20 YEARS, LET'S GOOOOOOO
I wonder if anyone will speak on this. I noticed this in Euphoria and now Wacced Out Murals that when he is delivering bars when the music cuts out his voice and cadence sounds like the engine of a car revving. It’s incredible. 10:30 it’s on the words “irony” and “wayne.”
31.42...in FRIDAY Ice Cube was eating captain crunch and ran out of milk. Put some water on it

Line and decimals reminds me of a division sign. Kendrick drew a division line in hip hop
In “Blunt Blowin”, Wayne also says “I still got the vision like a line with 2 dots”…
I’ve had the worst week of my life recently. I’ve always told myself, there’s always something positive that comes out of everything that’s negative. Just as I started to think that wasn’t true. Kendrick put out a banger of an album 💿
