I have been following this channel enjoying the content you 3 brothers make for 2 years now and I feel you each showcase your own personalities through your fish tanks. I personally have been very excited watching your Yellow Jacked cichlid grow out into this beautiful giant, I managed to find someone where I live that sells both rare and stunning cichlids like this Yellow Jacket Cichlid but a 2 hour drive is risky transporting such fish. I am currently growing out a Jaguar cichlid in a 75 gallon baby predator community tank with a Red Terror, a Green Terror, a Salvini, a Jack Dempsey, a rare Silver Vieja Cichlid and my prized Super Red Spotted Severum. I have a 2nd 75 with more aggressive cichlids such as the Midas, a Chili Red Oscar, a Red Mammon Parrot that is absolutely psychotic, a Red Spotted Severum, a Kenyi mbuna, a electric blue johanni mbuna and a Cuban cichlid whom I am scared will try to kill its own mother should he meet her. But surprisingly they all match each others aggression and nobody gets bullied in either tank. I hope all works out well with this fish, not many people seem to want aggressive fish like these, or red devils or flowerhorns or even the Dovii as you mentioned but its truly amazing how fish are so intelligent that they can coexist if given the right conditions and "territory space.
I'm sooooo glad you mentioned temperature and it's relevance to aggression!! Temperature is the most important factor in aggressive fish... And growth rate.... Cold blooded animals are less aggressive and the metabolism slows significantly in cooler water... Lol no need to waste energy in cooler water temps
Finally the species profile i was waiting for...Good to see him grow and become your fav fish 🐟 after the demise of Joker..The contrasting yellow background is doing wonders for his look🎉❤😊
How much food should I give my jaguar cichlid? He’s full grown, about a foot long. I give him a cube of blood worms and a few large cichlid pellets once a day
I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this cichlid I grew up with South American and Central American cichlids I thought it was a jaguar cichlid at first until I got a really good look at it🐠💙🔥
My fish have been flashing ever since I cured them of ich. Do you know what could be causing them to be irritated. They do it random times but it has been going on for about a month.
These fish are super confusing as to what they are if you look up Freddy or multifaciatus they are a lot more yellow color not the brown and gold as this one

Neither - this is a Central American cichlid
Hmmm though there were only 2 different kinds! Wouldn't even know where to find those fish, most fish stores sell peacocks and imbunas
This isn't a african cichlids @dtechvinnie
These fish are super confusing as to what they are if you look up Freddy or multifaciatus they are a lot more yellow color not the brown and gold as this one
