My mom and I watched that movie on Christmas Eve three days ago 😂 There are many things smart about what Hans Gruber does but that part was one of the smartest ones for sure
I don't think hiding yourself as a dead body in Saw was necessarily a smart move. What did that actually accomplish?? He could have stayed in a room next door and achieved the same result.
forging the one ring made Sauron vulnerable because he put so much of his power in it that he'd be destroyed if the ring was. The Joker's plan was dumb and impracticable (like most of his actions in the movie) - how big a bomb could he implant in someone without killing them? Also, it wasn't necessary for Batman to pick someone to rescue; once he knew the locations, he could send emergency services there.
Meh, definitely a poor showing from WatchMojo. For the most part there's no support in favor of what makes those plans smart. Why is posing as the body smart? It's a twist, sure but what makes that smart since it takes away the possibility to react. Same for Speed. It's a plan, but what makes it smart? Blowing the bus even by accident actually results in the antagonist failing.

Simon Gruber should be top 5.
I’m sure in 1995 no one was expecting that plot twist
6:53 nope, not his child
When Batman showed up at Harvey’s location, I knew Joker’s bait-and-switch had gone perfectly.
Phonebooth - The Caller he was 10 steps ahead of the police the entire movie & had a fall guy to make sure he got away clean.
Hans Gruber's choice to fake an American accent and pretend to be an office worker in the building when he comes face-to-face with McClane.
Yeeessssss RIH Snape ❤

Smart, but he gave himself away when he smoked the cigarette with his thumb & forefinger the european way
Not only Joker brought down Harvey to become a villain, but he tricked Batman and the police about the addresses of Rachel and Harvey
Inside Man is easily the most underrated film on this list !
And it's a Spike Lee joint, of all things...
“The Truman Show” has aged really well!
Heath Ledger's Joker seems like someone who is ex-special forces.
Maybe he was one before he became the Joker, maybe it just a Theory.
@SPAnComCat A Film Theory.😉
I KNEW Palpatine would be number 1!!!
Everything Clyde Sheldon did in Law Abiding citizen was smart!!

Law Abiding Citizen was sheer brilliance when it came to the planning and orchestrating of the antagonists desires =)
Passengers should be 1. Chris Pratt wakes up Scarlett johanson from hibernation and has her all by himself forever. Smart guy
Watchmen is so underrated
Palpatine's schemes throughout the franchise
🥉
@@BlackHatCinephile still wrong
Matchstick Men had a well devised plan that ripped off the villain himself by other villains
Ledger's Joker
🏆🥇
@@BlackHatCinephile still wrong like always because you have to accuse others with false claims and zero evidence.

Love when villains are smart usually they make dumb decisions good list thanks WatchMojo 👏
7:06 That wasn’t Michael’s baptism. It was his sisters child’s ceremony.
OA Speed should’ve been at number one but I guess Star Wars is good enough for me. 😊😊😊😊😊
The one evil plot that doesn’t make sense to me is Dr. No’s plot to disrupt a space launch with radio space beam. How is that evil or diabolical?
WHAT!? Don't yell my name, I'm right here ☺️

After I am gone, what I have done will still be discussed.

Is that Temuera Morrison on the thumbnail?

Cook the man some Eggs...it's Keanu Reeves in Speed here?
amazing
Chaos?
Face off is not smart 😂
Because of the different bone structures, they'd both vaguely resemble each other and themseves in different ways.
Magneto did nothing wrong.
