Beckford Silk are printers and dyers of silk fabrics in the UK since 1975. Dress silks, garments, scarves & ties in crepe-de-chine, satin, dupion etc.

I am an old man (69 years old) who dedicated himself to making screen printing, but the inks in PORTUGAL, are very thick and very expensive, I fight for some tips on your screen printing ink, has a soft and fine touch, as it is in the pieces coming from ASIA, we can not compete with them, and I remembered to ask you for some tips how to make these inks for me, I don't want your secret, but I know you can help me how to do it.

how do you ensure that each layer is directly above the last one so that they are perfectly aligned?
The cylinder shaped things at the edge of the table are markers, it seems.
It's called registration .hard to explain but essentially each colour in the screen is calibrated to sit in the place .thus is why you see steel stoppers in the screen

Do you put something below the silk, or does it go directly over the table? What is the material of the table? Is there a better materisl to recieve the silk?

Hard to answer here ...it's a Longish process but once done it's so fast to print..wish I could help more
What kind of ink/dye that you used? Where can i get it?
Don't know if you found your answer yet but for silk, you have to make the acid dye yourself with the right formula
