Did you know the emperor is actually really powerful? They actually gave it a feature no one noticed where if you carry it through out the rest of the playthrough, you can walk over to the vault gate and throw it off the cliff. This encourages the player to then get a better SMG.
There comes a point when playing a game over and over again where you do it without actually realizing it. I have a month played on both south park games and all the birderlands games (except tales) and I would start a play then subconsciously complete the side quest and explore the maps. Then it hits me like. Why am I doing this. Welp might as well.

The one time where you would actually want to get the Veruc from Mobley and not the Lyuda from Gettle. And this is probably also the one time where get you dozens of Lyuda drops but not a single Veruc.

I'm really excited for this run, Dahl is probably my favourite weapons manufacturer. Also, I love your allegiance runs! They're always very entertaining :) And Joltz, the emperor is a lot better than you think! You just have to get one with decent parts and remember to ADS, otherwise it's a lot slower and less precise. I like using it on Zer0, as it's quite accurate when zoomed and good for scoring crits + stacking Rising Sh0t. Maybe I'll tune in to tomorrow's stream!

I've only recently gotten Borderlands 2 (the Steam collection, the one that gives you all the DLCs and the Pre-Sequel for 20 bucks), and completed my first Normal Mode run. Late into it, I got a Corrosive Dahl Plasma Caster, which I then proceeded to tear my way through Sawtooth Cauldron with. I think I also killed the Warrior with that thing, too. So yeah, you could say I have a soft spot for the Plasma Caster.
today on "terrible ideas i just had" the Purity Allegiance Run. you pick the manufacturer you'll use for the run and then you can only use weapons not only from that manufacturer but all parts on the gun must also be from that manufacturer (i.e. matching grip, barrel, and sight for a pistol)
Hopefully, *if* there ever is a complete remaster/redux of Bl2, we'll see ARs in general get major adjustments (along with other specific items and weapon types), the ability to manually switch Dahl firing types, etc.
I love these playthroughs and in fact it gets me back into bl2, god I love that game, on a side note the little tips and tricks for leveling up quick and such is there a collection of these I can read anywhere to get me started again? Cheers dudes
The dhal Etec sniper has to be my favourite Dhal weapon in BL2. It fires so fast that you'll get all 3 shots off before the gun kicks and it kicks HARD. Its just so satisfying to use because it feels substantial. Back in the day with community patch, it was my go to sniper with Maya. Less good on zero because only the first shot gets deception bonus.
Next year's April fool's should be gearbox only, and joltz can either make all items gearbox, or just do the quick "aw can't beat them anymore, run ended" early
I dunno if you know but when Hammerlock offers his hand for Claptrap's eye, you can spam it the interact key on him to stack the sound a bunch of times before it appears in his hand
This is going to be a tough run later on

Dahl has some pretty decent gear. The big boom blaster is a solid shield and the pitchfork is like a sandhawk but in sniper form
