  • In this reaction we look at One Islam Productions video titled: "THE 5 PILLARS OF ISLAM EXPLAINED". The Five Pillars of Islam constitute the fundamental acts of worship and moral guidelines that shape the lives of Muslims. The first pillar, Shahada, emphasizes the declaration of faith, affirming the oneness of Allah and the prophethood of Muhammad. Salah, the second pillar, underscores the significance of ritual prayers performed five times daily as a direct connection between the individual and Allah. Zakat, the third pillar, highlights the obligation to give alms and support those in need, fostering a sense of social justice and compassion. Sawm, the fourth pillar, involves observing the fasting month of Ramadan, promoting self-discipline, spiritual reflection, and empathy. Lastly, Hajj, the pilgrimage to Mecca, represents the fifth pillar, symbolizing unity and equality among Muslims as they converge in a sacred journey to fulfill their religious duty. Together, these pillars serve as the foundation for Islamic faith and practice, guiding believers towards a life of devotion, charity, self-discipline, and communal solidarity.

Gasses? No! Muslims cannot perform Salah (pray) unless they are clean. If one has the urge to pass gas, one should stop praying and go outside the mosque to pass gas, then he or she needs to do Wudou’ (ablution) then he or she can pray.

The women have to religiously too. Men and women are separated in a mosque regardless. That comment was specifically about Friday prayer as moms generally are busy with the children if they have and the home. So for that reason they’re not required to attend Friday prayer at the mosque but the must pray at home.

Allah doesn't ask us to be perfect, but to show sincere efforts.
Secondly, there has to be conviction. If we have no "doubts" in our minds regarding 'there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and Muhammad ﷺ is the Messenger of Allah', then it's a sign of sincerity. But when there's doubt, then that's not sincerity.

It was a surprise to me too, when I read the old testament, I found the same story as well, with minor differences. In Genesis 21, says ( Then the angel of God called to Hagar : Arise, lift up the lad and hold him with your hand, for I will make him a great nation.", “Then God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water.” ). The Quran also says the same thing, when Abraham took his second wife Hagar and their son Ishmael and left them in a barren desert valley. she ran between two hills back and forth seven times, and the water came out of the ground, and this water is called Zamzam, and this place is now called Mecca, because of that any Muslim should also run seven times when he performs Hajj. Also, this spring is still flowing with water to this day. ٍSo, my turn now to ask you both :) what is this coincidence that made two of the largest religions narrate it with almost the same thing in their holy books??

Nobody will be passing gas like that in mosque cause that would make them unclean to pray. So I’ve never experienced that in mosque before.

Regarding thee Farting 💨 during prayer.. it will disqualify your whole prayer you would have to quit immediately and go redo your body washing “wadu” and restart the prayer over. Also 😂 a lot of people do rush their prayer it still counts but a lot of “hadeeth” list the good deeds you will receive when you don’t rush it😊 I hope that answers those questions

Beautiful question about sincerity. Some of the companions have said: If they feel sincerity in their sincerity, then their sincerity is in need of sincerity. When the servant feels in his heart that he is sincere, then because of this feeling in his heart, he needs to renew his sincerity.
Sincerity isn’t something that one has at all times, rather it requires renewal, polishing and nurturing so that ones sincerity doesn’t become corrupt
Sincerity in islam is not something that is shown to be people or that people should see. Instead we judge from what is apparent (actions). We can’t judge or even assume negatively about what a person has in his heart. The inner dimensions is only for Allah to judge as He has full knowledge of it

Any solid, liquid, or even gas that accidentally or intentionally escapes from the digestive or reproductive systems will automatically cancel the state of purity (Wudu) which is is an essencial requirement of prayer plus cleanliness of clothes & place from them. Even if it is an imam leading prayer he has to step aside & let someone else complete the prayers. And this is the small purification bc before that there is a shower (Ghusl) . You can look it up for details.
As for prayer, CONSISTENCY .....whether feeling good , bad even ill to the point of praying sitting, if not by moving head , if not by moving eyelids. It is obligatory starting from at the age of puberty ends with death or brain damage( alzheimer, madness....)
As for pilgamage it is not easy at all . The total distance covered is like a marathon.

There are many ways to measure your sincerity and faith there are many Verses in the quran and hadiths of the prophets which tell you that Like indiacators that Tell you If you are Doing a good Job and are really a true Muslim because IT IS Not enough to Just say you believe but you habe to Prove to God that you are a believer by actions by fearing God Loving him and Not breaking His Rules and to obey and submit to the commandements of the almighty. For example in surah mouaminon God directly describes the traits of true believers . In this surah God gives indiacators and factors by them you can measure your sincerity and faith . Please react to this surah by mishary alafasy IT IS a very clarifying surah to the questions you have ❤❤ IT IS called (surah Al mouaminon) this chapter IS called the chapter of the believers surah means chapter and mouaminon means believers so the chapter of the believers Tell you what and WHO is a believer

@7:45 it is never a problem at a noticeable level. Before starting prayer, every muslim has to go to toilet and wash genitals, then perform ablution (hands, mouth, nose, ears, hair, neck, arms) with water.
Prophet Muhammad Pbuh advised to avoid certain foods which has strong smell before coming to mosque.
And if still a person releases gas, he must leave the prayer, and start the cleaning process from zero before coming back to pray.
    “Cleanliness is half the faith.”

Fasting is not just holding back food and drinks. Abstinence of base desires, sin and vulgarity are also required to complete the fasting from sunrise to sunset.
There are two kinds of islamic pilgrimages: Hajj (as stated in the video) and Umrah
Hajj can be done only at the eve of the Islamic Year while Umrah can be done anytime. There are also more steps done in Hajj when compared to Umrah. *Think of Hajj as the deluxe edition of Umrah*

In islam there's something called : "there is no compulsion in religion" and that means that if you want to be a good Muslim it's between you and god, you can't force anyone to pray or to do something, but you can be an exemple to follow for you kids and your surrounding. As for calm and happy when you pray, that means that when a muslim want to pray, he need to be calm and happy because he's safe when he's in close to god, salat is the way to be close to the creator so you can have during the prayer a time to forget everything and free your mind and soul.

  • @ShazidsWorld
    @ShazidsWorld 5 місяців тому +2

Here are some of the concerns you guys mentioned in the video:
    1. There is no compulsion in faith, you cannot force someone to say the Shahada. If they feel that, there must be a creator and who is alone without any partner (which is rational) he or she can say these words and become Muslim. But there is something else, even if the person, who says the Shahada did not mean it, or just joked inside we still cannot say that he/she is not Muslim. These words are very powerful and even if someone says but doesn't believe in it.
So, to your questions, we don't need to know if the person is sincere or not. We just make sure to deliver the correct message and rest the of Allah will judge.
    2. It's very normal that sometimes you can feel disconnected from prayer. Prayer itself has some basic pillars. If you fulfill that pillar the prayer will be correct. If you feel that prayer is not rightly done, there are other procedures too. It's broad topics and it came from the Tradition of Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him). There are many many thousand books on how to do a basic 5 times prayer. But there are other types of prayer that are optional, like mid-night prayer (Tahajjud), Awabin prayer, Ishrak Prayer, etc.
    3. 'Did it ever get gassy in there?' No It's not. One of the major pillars of prayer is, that you have to have a clean body before standing in prayer. We do that by cleaning ourselves with water. We call it ablution or wudu. If you fart, or blood drops from your body, or you touch something unclean, or you sleep, the ablution will be invalid and you cannot pray in that state. You have to do the cleaning part again before the prayer. And if you accidentally become unclean in the mosque while praying, there are other rulings. The best is to leave the prayer hall, do the ablution again and pray.
    4. Yes, this is the Hagar, which we believe she was the 2nd wife of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon both). She was the mother of Prophet Ishmael who founded the Arab nation. The Kaba was rebuilt by Ibrahim and Ishmael by the command of Allah. There is a stone in front of Kaba called 'Makame Ibrahim'. Prophet Ibrahim used to stand in that stone while building. There is also his footprint on the stone.

Since now u know about pillars of islam , also look into 6 pillars of EMAN ( BELIEF) . To be a muslims it's important to have these 6 believe .1) belief in the God .2) belief in the prophets .( This includes all the prophets from Adam to mohammed including abraham ,jesus and Moses , peace be upon them all .) 3) belief in angels . This include angel Gabriel. 4) belief in revelations . This includes given to the previous prophets like David , Moses , jesus etc. some of them might be present in bible. 5) day of judgement .6) devine decree ( believing that everything happens according to god's plan. )

Its just like meditation, when you pray you feel connected to God, basically you talk to God and tell him your sufferings. Prayer also reminds us that we have a purpose in life and that this life is temporary. We put our highest part of us (head) on ground, without any ego, just to beg to Go d, thankand praise him. Prayer also has certain body movement which also proven by science that its good for health. Jesus,Abraham and other prophet also prostrated as stated in bible

regarding your first comment on the sincerity during testimony of faith, it's between you and God, you can become a Muslim even when u're alone and emit the statement. Each one can know when saying anything if they're sincere and since God knows what is in your heart then there's no need to prove it to anyone else. It's between you and God.

Your questions about sincerity is very excellent one. Allah says there are many people who becomes loser in judgment day because of there insincerity. In Islam being sincere in your action is the only thing that gives true weight to your action in this life and here after and only Allah knows that not even the angles who records our actions knows that.
I will give some video references to watch in your personal time if you are interested about this concept in Islam.

As an arabic speking muslim, I've always struggled with the translation of Salat, but one thing I'm sure of, it shouldn't be translated into "prayer"...and that's why you guys didn't get why it's supposed to be linked to happiness or inner-peace! Prayer in Arabic is "Duaa", it's when you ask for something from Allah! Salat, on the other hand, is closer to the concept of meditation! It's all about focus (khushoo),, reciting quran and saying mantras. We refer to it as being in the presence of Allah, rather than just praying for something specific.
PS: when it gets gassy, you're supposed to stop the salat, leave, redo wudu (cleansing ritual),, there's a space for that in the mosque, then go back & finish your salat!

The Kaaba in Macca was built by Prophet Ibrahim and his son Ismail.
    Quran: Al-Imran:
    96. Verily, the first House (of worship) appointed for mankind was that at Bakkah (Makkah), full of blessing, and a guidance for Al-‘Alamin (the mankind and jinns).
    97. In it are manifest signs (for example), the Maqam (place) of Ibrahim (Abraham); whosoever enters it, he attains security. And Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) to the House (Ka’bah) is a duty that mankind owes to Allah, those who can afford the expenses (for one’s conveyance, provision and residence); and whoever disbelieves [i.e. denies Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah), then he is a disbeliever of Allah], then Allah stands not in need of any of the ‘Alamin (mankind and jinns).

And lets say you are praying in your home or soemeone else home as a guest the rule of thumb is that the women cant pray in front of a man so that you can see that she will be behind and you first. If space allow you can pray in seperate rooms and same ones if you are mehram (family wives, mothers, daughters, sister etc)

Islam entails holding the correct beliefs about God, adhering to worship as commanded by Allah without introducing innovations in religion, and following the laws and rules set by Allah and live your life to the fullest. The ultimate objective is to perfect and reach a higher moral character where you live in harmony in the relation with your creator, humans and animals, and perform virtuous deeds for the satisfaction and pleasure of Allah, leading to rewards both in this life and the afterlife.

Prayer - "for me as a revert yes there are times that i think i didn't as good as i pray the last one or maybe my mind is full of thoughts.. But allah is the most merciful and loving thats why Islam says Trying your best is enough than not doing it at all.. Because God doesn't need our prayers! We pray for us to be connected and benefits us. After the recitation of our salah at the end thats when we do the DUA which the time you can ask for your needs and repent for your sins if i think im not as good as my last prayer i seek forgiveness for that. Why women are at the back in Mosque or in separate room well even orthodox christians do that. Its not because Men is more important in the Eyes of God we are all equal its just... (Sincerity & Focus) we pray shoulder to shoulder fit to fit.. We Prostate in our prayers imaggine a Young girl and in his side is a big man, or in front of you is a girl and she prostrate in front of you.. (prayer is the with you and God and other things that could distract you is not good) so its about focus on our prayer not about genders. Awkwardness to the side of the young girl or in the big man will loss their focus on their prayer. "

ZAKAT - "(Sincerity) Again specially with regular muslims if we do it GOD will rewards us and nobody needs to know that if you gave or not.. but the good thing about zakat in any other religion that has this same concept of giving something.. We can choose which people we want to give ofcourse relatives who is very unfortunate is the priority one but this has to fit to the Requirements such like you gave to someone who is (practicing muslim) not just muslim. But someone you know that really practicing the faith
We also have charity and thats different with zakat charity is could be smaller or larger amount and it could be given to muslim or non muslim"

At the end of the day if a person “accepts” Islam and aren’t sincere then that would be between them and god. Also the point about being gassy in prayer😂…no if you do pass gas you will need to stop your prayer and purify yourself via ablution. Women are allowed to go to Friday prayers but aren’t obligated to, not because of any reasons such as distracting the men. Men are obligated to do Friday prayers and late night prayers during our holy month however women are allowed to pray at home. There are a plethora of theory’s of wisdoms behind as to why that is but there isn’t an explanation as to why. This is something that we are told by god and his messenger and therefore we accept.

how to know if you pray hard enough? the Quran mentions الخشوع with prayer, which means being sincere, devoted, and heartfelt. like for example when you say the words you should say you understand and become open your heart for the message. Also, things like farting means you can't complete your prayer. for instance if someone did it when [praying they should leave and renew their wudu. in fact, women also must pray just like men, but at home and its permissible for them to pray at a women mosque while men must pray at the mosque.

Your question was asked long time ago to prophet Muhammad peace be apon him and i wish my english is that good to give u an answer but i can tell you for short we are not supposed to be perfect all the time everywhere we are human we make mistakes our faith is up and down and Allah who created us knows us better than we know ourselves he knows that we will make mistakes and that we can't keep our faith like 100% all the time if he wanted us like that he wouldn't create us in the first place since he already created Angels who never commit any sin and do what Allah's order them so being muslim doesn't mean being perfect everyday we just have to try to be good the best we can

In fact this is a good question and in order to know that one of the nullifiers of prayer is the exit of anything from the human excretory system and that includes urine or feces or fart or semen or any of this When it comes out you must leave the prayer and go to repeat ablution and return to start praying again

For the first point, you have to believe in Muhammad (pbuh) as well as ALL the other Prophets, Adam, Noah, David, Abraham, Moses, Jesus etc....
and sincerity is simply being focued and honest in your prayer, you can be sad, weak, happy, confused in your prayer anything. Its [praying with intention and genuineness, not fake forces emotion

praying does give you peace and calm and happiness, that nothing else can give you in a natural way. but for that, you have to recognize the Creator, it's not given to anyone. the fact that a human submit himself with no arrogance and pride to Allah, prayer becomes a moment of peace in his life, he will seek it 5 times a day. women and men have the obligation to pray five time a day, women get better rewards if she stays home and pray than if she goes to the mosque but she is welcome on fridays, meanwhile men, have the obligation to go to the mosque on fridays and gather with the brothers. christians do the pilgrimage i think in italy, the christian church.

The reason that Muslims are serious is their view of this world is like what the creator told them and they believe in that:

‏۝ Know that this worldly life is no more than play, amusement, luxury, mutual boasting, and competition in wealth and children. This is like rain that causes plants to grow, to the delight of the planters. But later the plants dry up and you see them wither, then they are reduced to chaff. And in the Hereafter there will be either severe punishment or forgiveness and pleasure of Allah, whereas the life of this world is no more than the delusion of enjoyment ‏۝

If someone was fart while he praying alone.he need stop the praying and need restart by do wudhu(ablution) then he can start the praying from the beginning. If he fart while praying with jamaah(congregation) ,he need stop and take new wudhu then he can continue follow the congregation but need replacement the rakaat(prayer step) that he miss from the congregation..
In congregation prayer, man and woman was segregated..in mosque or any open area, man will prayer at the front line ,while woman at the back side or at the partition area..so they will more focused while praying in congregation.
