FENDI QUALITY ISSUES? 😲 My first Fendi repair & customer care experience

    The only quality issue I can think of with Fendi is the sequins Gwenny. Sequins have caused a few problems. But this is the first case if a glazing issue I’ve heard about? Glad it’s all sorted and fixed now!

      I should've mentioned the sequins, they really are the only things I've heard people having trouble with. I'm relieved it's sorted and I can happily continue to feed my Fendi fever with more Fendi! ✨

    Hey Gwenny! I haven't heard of any issues at all with Fendi quality issues. I am glad you got it sorted and I agree I would not have paid anything for repair. As you say it is much easier to have a SA who can just deal with it all for you. x

      I think it must be a one-off, I've seen nothing else apart from sequin shenanigans. ✨ A good client advisor is worth their weight in gold! 🌟

    Fendi customer service is the best. My SA (Jamie) is so great, and everyone at the store closest to me is absolutely wonderful. They keep me returning to the brand!

    I’ve never heard anyone talk about issues with Fendi, so a little shocked. Glad you sorted the issue with the bag and payment. Definitely wouldn’t want to pay for repairs on bag less than a year old. It’s such a cute lil bag.

      I really do think it must be a one-off, I've seen nothing else apart from some sequin shenanigans.✨ It's honestly one of my faves, soooooo useable and fun! 💕

    I'm so glad this all worked out and you have her back!! 😊I haven't heard of any Fendi quality issues either. It's always Chanel or LV that people talk about online. I'm surprised the CA talked about it like it was a known issue, but I suppose they hear everything coming down from corporate. 💕

      I wonder if the CA actually said that as a knee-jerk reaction and not because she *believed* it? 🤔 The *only* Fendi quality issues I've seen spoken about out here on the interwebs is around the sequin baguettes. ✨ I'm delighted to have her home, I'm even more delighted I didn't have to pay for the repair! 😉💕

    I bought a mini light pink sequinned baguette in November 2022. I wore it for the first time to a Christmas dinner and a friend notice two sequins on the floor from the bags. I picked them up and could not see where the sequins had fallen from the bag. Wore it one more time and about three or more sequins fell off. In January I contacted Fendi Canada and they said to send it to my local store which turned out to be Vancouver Fendi. Vancouver received the bag and said they could return it by end of February. I was out of the country until late April so I contacted Vancouver office and asked for my bag to be sent to me when I returned. I talked to Vancouver office upon my return and the Vancouver office said they had trouble sourcing the sequins. Yes I sent the sequins I had found on the floor😢to Vaouver with the bag but they were not enough to make the repair. So there a few firm emails and discussions with Vancouver office. Eventually they found the proper sequins and the bag returned to me at the end of June 2023 I believe. The assistant manager in the Vancouver store was very helpful in this process. Bottom line, my sequinned baguette shed sequins on the first occasion that I wore the bag and although Fendi originally said they could repair by end of February then they could not make the repair because they had run out of sequins. Really……run out of sequins. 😂

      Run out of sequins?! 😒✨ That's crazy! Sequins do seem to be the quality exception, I know Dayle's had trouble with hers, and some of her subscribers have said the same. Sorry you had that trouble too. I hope yours is perfect now! 💖👌🏼

      Ugh 😩 I just bought the purple sequin medium baguette. There’s a couple of issues with it & I’m worried about this happening as well. I’m leaning towards returning it & picking a different bag. I’m in Canada too.

    So glad it all came right! 💕 I’ve always had good experiences with Fendi customer services but then I’ve never had to sort out a repair as so far I’ve had no quality issues! But like you say they do seem usually non existent 🤨 Let’s really hope it is a one off.
    Valentina is indeed the best CA! I’ve just recommended her to someone this very week and I believe they have ordered something 💕

      Yes, it really does seem to be a one-off. The Lion found one video about quality issues with the baguette (not-sequins, there are a few of those) but the UA-camr said she'd basically trashed it so not really quality issues! 🙄 I had a comment from Nicola to say she's ordered a pink mini baguette like yours with Valentina! She's truly the best and she's out there, spreading the Fendi joy! 😘💕

      It didn't seem right that I'd have to pay, given she wasn't even a year old. If it happened again in 5 years then yes, I'd get the card out to keep her pristine! 💳😘

    “Et tu, Fendi ?”. 🤣🤣👏🏻. Goodness…so glad you called customer service. It does seem that they should have fixed it no charge from the start, but it all ended well 🥰🥰. Ah yes…moving house… and herding cats? 🤣🦁. I remember that story. We are about to move half way cross country but I’m leashing the puppy straight away. 🙄🐶. Enjoy your repaired beauty!!

    I had the same issue, except it was with my Fendi sunglasses purchased at Solistice. The screw came loose on one side of the sunglass which caused it to fall off my face , while wearing it. I only owned it for 2 weeks and wore it for a total of 5 days. And they were a very expensive pair of sunglasses too 😮

    I’m shocked at how much they would of charged you to begin with! Good gravy that’s hardly a five minute job. I bought the glazing stuff and the heat gun from Amazon several years ago to repair my older LVs that LV would not repair. It’s a win win if you ask me. I would of been doing what you did. And agree with you 100% about how they handled the repair and whether you would buy again. I would of been livid if they said it to me. Glad it worked out!! I see a little purple peeking out of that hot pink too and it looks fab. Great combo colors

      @@StyledByGwenny I’m one of those that will try something at least once to see if its possible. Comes from necessity, the mother of invention. I grew up poor. Needed to learn a lot of skills to manage. And now, things are so so much better. I’m a lot older and my skill level has improved. I of course give all glory to God. However, I do venture out and try newer things quite often. I am married to a man who is just the same. But polar opposites otherwise. Lol. We are a creative team but can’t work together..imagine that. I work fast pace, he is a slower version. Drives me nuts..lol. I saw a channel on here where a girl was repairing beat up LV bags and she had all the stuff to do it with. I heard others say that second hand LV’s don’t make it to the cutting floor for repair so, I fixed my own. I have cut up other bags and repurposed them in other projects, I think I showed you my side table I did with LV monogram. I love it. I even used the hardware on the table. I love crafting (not old school crafts, but repurpose stuff), so the imagination station runs at 100 miles per hour when I get started. I’m wondering why I have never been a purse designer since I have loved bags since I was just a child, ? That would be up my alley one day.

    Oh nooooooo quality issues? That’s not good. 🙄 We should never have to pay. The money they charge for these bags should come with lifetime warranties! I haven’t even used mine yet and I almost have it a year. Glad you got it fixed free of charge. 😊
