- We made a trip up to Yahchouch village as this is where my good friend Fouad is from. We get the opportunity to meet the local mayor and receive some tips about Yahchouch and then we make our way over to Fouad's future burial site.

We tried two attempts in this video to visit the Chouwen River, but unfortunately both attempts were a failure for 2 different reasons. I think that is just a sign that I will need to return to Lebanon again to explore it.

Oh wow. This my village. I was born and raised there until my mid 20s. Visited this summer after 4 years being away. Still brings a lot of good memories and happy feeling. I know the Mokhtar lol. I hope you enjoyed the visit!
I did, had a great experience! Thanks a lot my friend ❤️
Fouad habibi thank you for showing Mac arround. You have been a great host, and a great representation of a true lebanese 🤲❤
I'm so glad to hear that, thank you so much my friend!! ❤️
What a great series man, thank you for sharing so often. I haven’t been back home in 4 years and miss it very much. Lebanon is the place to visit, in its ups and downs - it always delivers. I hope you enjoyed your time there.
Thanks a lot for your comment, I hope you can make it back soon! It has bene such an experience to be in Lebanon and youre right it always delivers even in the hardest times!
@@worldnomac Happy to hear it 5aye, haha. Yes hopefully soon, been living in the states for the last 12 years, and there’s plenty of Lebanese food here 🤣.
I look forward to future videos and wish you all the growth on UA-cam/TikTok. Discovered you through Luke’s videos a few weeks back and have enjoyed every bit of it. Ya3teek l 3ffyeh 👌
Awesome videos I love it keep them coming I'm Lebanese and I live in Canada your videos brings back good memories about Lebanon 🇱🇧😀👍👍👍💚
Love to hear that Frank! It is an awesome place over in Leb 😍
I cant believe my village is in a youtube video!!!!!! I just went their in the summer and im already missing it!!!!! I hope you liked my village and you should try hiking up the mountain because its a very fun experience!!!
I had a wonderful experience! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Thank you for showing the beautiful side of my country. Love your videos. When you come back next time try to go to the Chouf and visit Deir El Ammar, a beautiful village and stay at Beit Ammar. You should also visit Beit El Din. I would also recommend visiting Deir Saydit El Nouriyeh in Hamat next to Chekka. Beautiful view from up there and ask to visit the old church when you are there not just the new one. Also try visiting some of our wineries in the Beqaa. There is Kefraya winery which is beautiful and opposite it there is a boutique winery called Chateau Marsyas (the best wine). On your way to Kefraya , have lunch at Tawlet in Ammiq which has tasty lebanese food and a beautiful view of the Beqaa Valley, however, I think you should call them first as I think starting October maybe they open on weekends only. And if you are staying in Ashrafieh, you should definitely try the ice cream of Hanna Mitri. Best authentic traditional Lebanese ice cream in Beirut. Welcome in your 2nd home.
I just left but I'd love to come back someday! Thank you so much for the recommendations as well as for watching my video ❤️
i like it ,, great panoramic view ... i am lebanese living abroad, i do not know the beauty of Lebanon.. thanks mac and thanks luke 😀😀
Glad you enjoyed Lebanon through my eyes! Much love ❤️
Hi Mac, thank you for this nice tour together with Fouad
It was a good video Mac, the most.important is keeping safe , will be better in summer ....Grettings from el Salvador centralamerica
Thanks a lot!!
very good village....very good culture...thanks for sharing, real Lebanon...respect from Pakistan
Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did 🙏🙏 Much love to you as well
I also sneeze with the sun around. Its called photic sneeze reflex. Its hereditary and can affect up to 1/3 of humanity. Scientists think its a self cleaning mechanism our bodies used to exhale dust and microbes from when they wiuld come out of the cold and dampy caves.
As for the graves, its tradition yes but also has to do with the limited amount of space allocated for cemeteries, especially in congested areas. In my family grave there are about 10 members to date. Its an eerie feeling knowing your loved ones will end up there, or maybe even yourself. But then again, i am planning to leave Lebanon in the following year.
Keep up the wonderful videos, ive been binge watching them.
Great videos mate, glad your enjoying the beautiful country, this video I feel you encouraged black market exchange rate a little which was inappropriate because these con artists are the reasons the exchange rate is quiet messed up. Anyway keep up the good work really hope you’ve enjoyed Lebanon and it’s friendly citizens. Your videos were 🔥🔥
another great travel video. Keep it up World Nomac...you know what I mean.hehe
Thank you very much, I appreciate it Roy!
@@worldnomac when covid will be lifted soon. I would like to invite you for a tour in one of the island in Philippines. I currently bought a piece of land in one of the great islands in Philippines. but currently I'm here in Papua New Guinea..
@@royleeh wow that is very cool you have a piece of land on an island! I would love to meet out there, many thanks for the invite! 🙏🏼
I thought I was the only one who sneezes when walking into the sun! Happens to me and my kids all the time. I red one time that apparently some people have the nerve for squinting very close to the nerve for sneezing or something like that, so when you squint when walking into the sun it triggers a sneeze.
Awesome day🔥
We had a blast bro! ❤️
Hello from Lebanon❤
Hiii❤️
Hello .I never miss your video
You are amazing, thank youuu
Love the vids u shown me more about my country then i know
Hey bro remember i was there i was the guy that asked if you are a youtuber and actually if you go to 8:10 you can see me wearing green shorts
This is my second time saying this but dude Baalbek is crazy, even if they say it’s not safe it is. Check it out if you get the chance
When I come back I will try and make it there!
It’s true, Lebs always fight for the bill 🤣 anywhere in the world 😄
😂😂😂 it can get soooo intense!!!
No wonder we're broke
What camera you are using to vlog please. and do you use laptop to edit your vudeos?
now I use a gopro amzn.to/3puQBUB
I shoot it in wide angle at 50FPS (frames per second) with stabilization turned on. I use the built in microphone on the GoPro.
Then I use this to reduce wind noise: amzn.to/3b79KDz
@@worldnomac Thank you. It was very helpful Mac.
Yo, if you do want to count. don't leave his sight. If you move away to count, he can deny any objections
That’s a very good point, normally I do, I just wanted to change the lighting for the video 😬
He literally said give us the visa so we can all immigrate to the us 🤣🤣🤣
hahaha I did not realize it

Interesting to think about the war in Lebanon and how the mountains were sites for rocketing the cities from. 😎
Yes indeed!

great area, shame you couldnt make it, been there once it was august and it rained, even in mid summer. The strange thing is that why they didn't allow the dog, very bizarre ... Well there is always next time.
Yes good point, it does give me another reason to come back! It was bizarre, I was surprised they didn't let him in

@ 10 : 50 The Mokhtar told Mac " Get us all USA Visas and take us there to your country " THE SAME SONG the Mokhtar's Dad generation sang all the time .
This ( fucken song) that became our CURSE as a Lebanese or in fact is the long time curse of the Lebanese people .
Not your average migrating individual talking here ...
Mokhtar , Believe in yourself and therefore your country first this way you can clean the government and the political parties in the lead to a decent and stable government and go explore other countries later .
Running away is not going to make you or your little kids a better individual ,nor it will give the freedom .
The poor Fellow ,he does not know that he is living in the hidden paradise .
