My favorite thing that I don’t think people catch is that both Taylor and Ed say “reputation precedes me” and Future says “I got a reputation girl that DON’T precede me”.
Ed met his wife at Taylor’s 4th of July party at her house. “After the storm, something was born on the 4th of July”. He never left her side and they were married shortly afterwards. Ed and Taylor have been best friends for a decade at least. Ed Sheeran’s “You need me, I don’t need you” is a jaw dropper!! ua-cam.com/video/DV0TJZ7Kp40/v-deo.htmlsi=CcEhIvBUWtqYmvaR
Cherry, Ed's wife is actually a highschool sweetheart. They got separated as he pursued music then united when Taylor invited Cherry in her 4th of July party
"Met at her house" gives a wrong impression. they were childhood friends who still talked. He called her and she was in Boston instead of London! surprise, surprise! lucky for both of them. Fourth of July becomes Valentine's Day . Also, thanks for the link to the song!
They did co-write. Great Reaction. Taylor's live performances from her Reputation Tour are fire, "Don't Blame Me", "Ready For It" (there is a MV too), and "I Did Something Bad" NOTE: in the song, the lyrics are actually "they said I did something bad".
When Ed was just started coming up Taylor had him as the opening on her tour. It was a new experience for Ed because I was a stagehand at one of the early shows on the tour and he was taking it all in. Never been on such a big tour. I kept running into him everywhere backstage which is unusual. He would just have a big grin on his face.
If you watch Ed walk off the Eras Tour stage after performing with Taylor at Wembly on 8/15, he has a similar look to what you described. I was wondering why, since he headlines Wembly...but it must have been quite a nostalgic moment for him.
Taylor writes and directs her own videos. Many rappers love her. Her pen game is crazy, her musical genres are very different, and she has been compared to Shakespeare. Thank you for giving Taylor a chance. P.S. she is also very generous to her fans, friends, and many charities.
One early song from Ed is AMAZING. “You need me, I don’t need you”. That man can RAP. Here’s a great link to it. Let us know what you think, please!! ua-cam.com/video/DV0TJZ7Kp40/v-deo.htmlsi=CcEhIvBUWtqYmvaR
Reputation as an album was SEVERELY underrated and overlooked. But it is a non-skip album. It has always been and will always be THAT girl. Bury me with a copy of reputation.
Fun fact, Ed Sheeran and Taylor have been best friends for a decade.. Ed Sheeran’s line, “ something was born on the Fourth of July” was because he reconnected with his now wife at Taylor’s Fourth of July party. She held it at her Rhode Island home.
Her stuff gets suppressed. I'm so glad that there are people that are finally just giving her her credit. She doesn't have to get extra credit, but she deserves the credit she deserves.
It’s been really fun kind of discovering Taylor Swift with you. I never listened to her and if somebody asked me, I would say I didn’t like her. I also don’t understand why she has so many haters… But no one can deny the Swifty army that’s for sure. I got sucked into an algorithm and I am so here for it! Your energy is amazing.💜
Ed's verse is about his wife. They were childhood mates and then met up again later in life and fell in love. I believe Taylor usually writes with the people she collars with. Taylor and Ed are like long time besties.
Taylor has been spittin out bars for years. She's the real deal and thats just straight facts. Hell I ain't even a Swifty, she's genuinely a good all around artist.
So dope watching you enjoy this!!!!! Taylor's live Reputation tour videos are the ones to watch. "Don't blame me", "I did Something Bad", and "Ready for it"❤️🤘
“The Man”, “I Bet You Think About Me”, “I Can See You”, “Are You Ready For It” are all excellent videos! Love your reactions! Love your wife’s taste in music 😎✌️
Ed and Taylor are good friends. He met his wife at one of her forth of July parties she throws every year at her house in Rhode Island. There is also a story about the house and who lived in it like 100 years ago. She wrote a song about it and and the song is brilliant too it’s called the last great American dynasty. There’s are so many music videos she does that are fantastic and her hundreds of songs are just written and made so well and she had to redo them all bc her masters were stollen so she re wrote all her songs and added more. If you hear TV it’s Taylor’s version. She rewrote, recorded and added songs, the way she really wanted them to be so she had to redo everything from she ever did. The only TV album we are waiting on is reputation it’s the last one before she off with a new amazing producer. She’s incredible. ❤
Taylor got hate when Kanye recorded a phone call asking to use Taylor's name in a song. Taylor agreed to hear the song & then decide if she was cool with it. Well, he released the song singing something like 'I might sleep with Taylor Swift sometime, I made that bitch famous!' (That's because he ripped the mic out of her hand when she was just a teenager, getting an award for best video of the year. The jerk. She forgave him & he screwed her over again with this song fiasco). Taylor was pissed he called her a bitch in the song, so Kim edited the phone call & released it, making Taylor out to be a liar & a snake, saying she agreed to it. The world turned on Taylor & she disappeared for a year & came back with her 'Reputation tour' where she leans into all the stupid rumors & shit. Lots of snakes in her videos & costumes too, now. The video for 'Look what you made me do' addressed Kanye & the media's treatment of her & how she came back harder & less naive. Ironically, the entire phone call was recently released, showing Taylor told the truth & Kim lied. Now the Swifties have turned on Kim. Also, on her new album Taylor wrote a song about Kim called 'thanK you aIMee'. (Notice the capital letters in the title). Kim's daughter North loves Taylor, so the song cracks me up all the more.
She's always been open to any genre. They all wrote their own parts to it; which is why Taylor only sings the chorus and her parts when she's on tour. . She's worked with other rappers before: a spoof with T Paine (Thug Story was a promo for the 2009 CMA's), Both of Us for B.o.B. (she sang backup and was in the video), Bad Blood with Kendrick Lamar (she sang ALL of one his songs on her Instagram in the car, back when). She used to fill some of the time in her first year (as an opener for country artists) with occasional covers, including Eminem at least once. Sheeran rapped on some mixtapes he put out years ago. He also collaborated with Taylor in 2012 for the Red Album (two songs on the Taylor's Version, 1 on the original). The duets where she sings both parts: ME! with Brendon Urie, and I Don't Wanna Live Forever with Zayn ----- she wrote those mostly herself. IDWLF had some cool co - writers & producers. Names you know?
I love artists that are versatile, so many say oh this one sold out went country to pop or rap to country , no they are just showing that they are more then one dimensional. And she gets so much hate for singing about her excess or life experiences but so many speak what they know, comedians that talk about their own family stories, musicians that write from the heart ( I mean hello Eminem anyone) . I love her stuff even from the begining her first album.
Taylor kind of introduced him onto mainstream music by having him open for her on a tour when he was first starting out so they have been friends a very long time and he was always a very authentic and artistic songwriter even before so his skills and bars in this song are not a surprise not to me anyway.
Taylor's voice and performance is what makes the collaborations great. Taylor winks when she says "from my RED lips" because she's not wearing red lipstick.💄
Taylor and ED and Future have been friends for a long time, Especially Taylor and ED have known each other for a long time, She had Sabrina Carpenter open for her from the eras tour part of it , Than all of sudden since she is now use to the stadium tour, She came out with Expresso that went to #1 Taylor contues to support , Now they both are up for Grammys this year.🎉 Happy New Year 🎊
Just wait until her rerecord of REPUTATION comes out this year!!! the whole album slaps and there will be vault tracks that she will be releasing! You should react to that!!
Ed and Taylor are good friends, he even has a tattoo for her! not sure how close she is with future though they did write it all together which i agree, is clear. it was played on radio (uk) a lot at the time tbf.
Intro and ready for it live from the reputation tour. Also Don’t Blame Me and I Did Something Bad from the same tour. Another good live check is her performance of Doubt with Mary J Blige live from the 1989 world tour.
Great reaction! Loved it! It’s one of my favorites as well! You need to react to Ready For It from her Live Reputation Tour with the intro! It’s fire 🔥!
New to your channel, I love how much you respect her talent and how well rounded of an artist she is. For the next one, if you want a similar vibe but with insane special effects, I'd highly recommend either Ready For It, or Out of The Woods. If you want to try something COMPLETELY different, I'd love to see you react to the All Too Well Short Film. It's a 15-minute short film set to her song by the same title. Taylor wrote and directed it, and it was shot in traditional film, so it has a really nostalgic feel. All 3 of those have incredible stories, I can't wait to see what you pick next!
The fact she gets so much hate is because she's unstopable at this point and wipes every other artist off the map. Can you imagine how many labels and ppl with money that are so pissed about that.
The videos for Karma and Look What you made me do are definitely ones you will really like. Also Delicate and You Need to Calm Down. Really enjoying your reactions.
The haters are not about Taylor, it's about haters need to hate to give them purpose. Taylor is a talented songwriter and performer, a loyal friend, a good person and well respected artist. With success like hers comes haters, especially because she is female. But as you can see, their hate is wasted because she could care less.
1989 and reputation are mostly produced by legendary pop producers Max Martin and Shellback as well as directed all the music videos of 1989 and reputation except Shake It Off and Style with legendary director, Joseph Khan. Taylor did amazing videos as director. Better watch The Man, both Cardigan and Willow from folklore and evermore because they are connected and all MV of Midnights. In addition, I Can See U from Speak Now (Taylor's Version). The MVs were like cinematic experience. That's why I love the visuals that she is making with her music.
These are the next go-to’s I think you’ll like: -Intro + Ready For It from Rep Tour -Look What You Made Me Do from Rep Tour -Don’t Blame Me from Rep Tour -Vigilante Shit from Eras Tour
The funniest part is when she sings “Here’s the truth from my red lips” she is not wearing any red lipstick at that point in the video. The rest of the time she is. 😂
Ok yes the three live performances from the reputation tour are a must! Everyone is suggesting them... I also like lavender haze.... karma however I will say I prefer the original studio track than the video with ice spice but it's still good. Lover is a good one and then a another good live is "I knew you were trouble" from the 1989 tour
Subscribed for more Taylor and as an extra treat I see you're on the NF Journey as well. You should check out the music video for Look What You Made Me Do. This is the first time she addresses the Kanye KimK drama and the video has a ton of Easter Eggs for other beefs she had at the time. You should also check out her live performances she's even better live and often changes the arrangements so it's a different experience.
Taylor has so many videos w/ excellent visuals. Some are really fun, and others are super artistic and conceptual. Most of the ones directed by Joseph Kahn are 🔥🔥. Some that I personally ❤ are: - Out of the Woods - Anti-Hero - Blank Space - You Need to Calm Down - Lover - Ready for It - Wildest Dreams - You Belong With Me - The Man - Cardigan - Bejeweled - Love Story - All Too Well (10 minute version) *start w/ the lyric video before the short film, imo, to focus on the lyrics before the storytelling of the short film) Enjoy the journey!! 😊
She has released 270 songs in her career. You've only heard the ones they play over and over on the radio, and those aren't even my favorites. Go deep. Hint on the haters: usually the haters are men who think that a woman's viewpoint on life and love is stupid. "She sings about relationships." What are men singing about...world peace?? She has won more Album of the Year Grammy Awards than any other artist in history. Think about that...male or female, more than any in history. And that's because people who write music know she's a genius, and they give her awards for her artistic genius. Welcome to the other side!
I recommend “Ready For It”, the Music Video, because I wanted to listen to it, at the end of watching your uplifting “End Game” MV reaction. 🔥 Thank you.
3 of my favs From folklore album - this is a Long Pond session - Exile with Bon Iver ua-cam.com/video/o5SQIECedTY/v-deo.htmlsi=QTm7cCcoYlZ7-MW4 From Saturday Night Live - False God - great sax ua-cam.com/video/kjD3LoXp-Pw/v-deo.htmlsi=P52OspOdwkpgyX73 Fron reputation tour - King of My Heart - awesome drumming ua-cam.com/video/lDfOIDY9d90/v-deo.htmlsi=NWaVkQbRqexmXc2b
Taylor Swift is way more than her radio hits. She is ALWAYS a full album listen.

Ed met his wife at Taylor’s 4th of July party at her house. “After the storm, something was born on the 4th of July”. He never left her side and they were married shortly afterwards. Ed and Taylor have been best friends for a decade at least.

how was it working for taylor?
If you watch Ed walk off the Eras Tour stage after performing with Taylor at Wembly on 8/15, he has a similar look to what you described. I was wondering why, since he headlines Wembly...but it must have been quite a nostalgic moment for him.

Taylor loves rap. She needs to do more songs like this honestly
i’m so excited for the reputation vault tracks
Ed Sheeran is far better rapper than most of today’s rappers if you want to react to them you will love them.
FACT! I only new him as a rapper for SO LONG and was surprised to see him come into the mainstream like a friggin pro!

I love when he raps while playing guitar
That’s not easy at all
Reputation as an album was SEVERELY underrated and overlooked. But it is a non-skip album. It has always been and will always be THAT girl. Bury me with a copy of reputation.

Ed's "four words, I'll never say it" means "Will You Marry Me." He married Taylor's friend that he met at Taylor's 4th of July party.
Ed's verse is about his wife. They were childhood mates and then met up again later in life and fell in love. I believe Taylor usually writes with the people she collars with. Taylor and Ed are like long time besties.
“Oh my hell.” 😂 A lot of talent in this track!
Taylor does try to become friends with everyone she meets, and if they don't reciprocate, she just moves on, but she's a kind, grounded person.
Taylor has been spittin out bars for years. She's the real deal and thats just straight facts. Hell I ain't even a Swifty, she's genuinely a good all around artist.

The whole reputation album is awesome. You need to check out the intro and ready for it. Live off the reputation tour.

Yes!! 💯
Great reaction. Thank you. Taylor is amazing. The collab is fire.
I think Ed Sheeran opened for her once a very long time ago and they've been friends ever since.
Taylor wrote the entire song but asked Future and Ed Sheeran to write their own verse part inside her composition with the theme of "reputation"
I love that song.
I like collaborations. Brings people together.
And the Blank Space video you should see!!!
she can make rappers into pop singer
Oh yeah.... You're definitely about to fall down the Taylor Swift rabbit hole. 😄 Great reaction, cant wait to see more.
Haha loved ur energy in the reaction
Ed Sheeran has an album called No. 6 Collaboration (I think that's the name) that has a bunch of hip hop collabs. 😊
Intro and ready for it live from the reputation tour. Also Don’t Blame Me and I Did Something Bad from the same tour. Another good live check is her performance of Doubt with Mary J Blige live from the 1989 world tour.
