I like the fact that he appreciates that classics should remain original, as in the case of the parked only-for-display pieces. As for the modified/souped-up engines I consider them a sacrilege on an iconic vehicle which consequently loses its vintage. Furthermore the frame and small wheels were not designed to handle this multi-time power increases rendering these modified scoots, even with the enhanced brakes, potential death-traps.
Beautiful collection, ive alot of spare time at moment and my passion for Lambrettas has returned in my mid 50's, always kept the look, listened to the music, cant find a Li I50 up to early 70's anywhere, you find one they've been checking on their phones and ask stupid money, you try to explain thats restored money for an Italian scooter not that Indian copy you have, they'd rather let it rot than sell it sad, hopefully theres places in the UK that sell old Lambrettas for sensible prices.☘️
@@drkrayem that’s good… did you ride it as is?? Was designed and built for a very specific purpose… Bob was a good mate, and his idea worked well on my Tv200, decent top end speed with a good fuel economy, sitting at low revs. You should have an MB number on the barrel as work was done by him to Bobs specs.
SX200 @3:50 sounds insane. The SX150 is most definitely INSANE 😮 Seems like a top guy too tbh
Is he the clearest man on the planet, just bloody amazing
Wow what a collection 😮
This guy really knows his stuff!
Shiny Red Tuning is my engine builder
