Alpha Omega Homeschooling Goes to Myuna Farm

Throwback to our fun excursion to Myuna Farm last term!
Our Alpha Omega Homeschooling students had an exciting excursion to Myuna Farm in the last term of 2022!
They saw native Australian animals such as kangaroos, cockatoos and emus. They encountered other animals like deer, yak, llamas, camel, donkey, horses, goats, peacocks and more!
It was a great close-up experience for the children to observe, meet and interact with animals. They learned about each animal, its habitat and dietary needs. They walked the feed trails around the paddocks to feed some of the beautiful animals at the farm and even gave them some loving pats. A farm visit such as this encourages our students to reconnect with nature and see what farming and caring for animals is like.
We has our lunch outdoors and also had fun playing in the maze and playground at the farm.
