This guy I went to school with was born without earlobes so they grafted him artificial ones from the skin off his thigh. True story. He definitely had acquired ears.
I have TMJ so most of them are too tight and I end with pain pretty quickly but I can use the separated clip on ones. It's not great but better than just speakers.
