Popeye is one of those timeless characters. He never gets old.
Man I never realized how amazing the voice acting is in this.
Because much of it was improv. The voice actors would watch the entire cartoon and think of ad libs to put in, then record the audio.
100 year old cartoon and yet still fun to watch.
The fight scenes in this show were like something out of an anime.
You know I think it where anime got it from. Wonder why we downgraded?

The "Oh, here's a ladder I can use this" "What ladder I don't see a ladder" is one of the best uses of misdirection I've ever seen. I didnt even realize the building was joined together until that part, made me laugh so hard xD
I loved this one as a kid. Still do. And animation is amaizing.

Man, I love how these old cartoons are basically just Popeye and Bluto beating the crap out of each other for five minutes.
Bluto was completely out of control by the end of this one, attempting murder and assaulting Olive Oyl all because he wanted her window business.
