    I’m an amateur trumpet player and I’ve listened to you for years. You have continued to inspire me to continue preforming even when it is considered weird and unnatural for a 17 year old to completely submerge himself in his music. Thank you!

    • @misssarahashplant31
      @misssarahashplant31 6 років тому +3

      Jacob Best It should be seen as weird and unnatural for teenagers to NOT immerse themselves in Classical Music. It is the only music around which is worth listening to. Who in their right mind would want to subject themselves to rock and pop? Classical all the way.

    • @jacobbest9898
      @jacobbest9898 6 років тому +1

      Katie Ashplant I agree and I’ve been trying to spread it. I have taken a few of my friends to concerts and have gotten them on board but unfortunately we are still in the vast minority of kids our age who like classical music

    • @misssarahashplant31
      @misssarahashplant31 6 років тому

      Jacob Best Classical Music is not for the majority. It is for people who are refined, sensitive and more cerebral than everyone else. We must always be the minority and unless something drastic changes, we always will be.

    • @misssarahashplant31
      @misssarahashplant31 6 років тому

      Jacob Best It's encouraging to read that you don't like rock and pop. The rock and pop industry, like Hollywood, actually has Satanic origins, something which most people don't know, and you should avoid it. Young minds certainly shouldn't be exposed to rock and pop. It's why modern-day society is saturated with rock and pop, just like it's saturated with drugs. Rock and pop is another form of mass mind control and one of the Illuminati's weapons in the war they are waging against the human mind.

      Katie Ashplant I’ve been saying for years I was born too late. They had it right in the 40’s with jazz and classical. I am one of the youngest in my friend group but at the same time have acquired the nickname “the old man” for almost everything about me resembles that era from my like in music to my mannerisms. Unfortunately the world does not see things the way they should be

    It's a corny joke but if it helps to lift people's spirits, even just an incy wincy bit, it is all to the good. Joy is deeper than sorrow.

    Last week I met a trumpeter who had your same type of trumpet, but I didn't ask him which kind it was. Anyway I've been always interested to know how it's called that beautiful model. Oh, and I also would like to know which of your albums are you most proud of, cause I would like to buy one. Thanks for making all this wonderful music

    Notable, unique arrangement; but I'm afraid I'm don't really like the idea of compressing Rimsky-Korsakov's enticing 40+ minute symphonic suite down to 6 minutes.

    • @mhenrikse

      @@aaronjackson7166 I've listened to a lot of his videos and I'm a big fan of them. At the time, I meant that a small group playing orchestra arrangements is not a good venue to display his big solo talent. Listening again, I can see that he is searching for different ways to make music than has been typical of trumpet players: solo, quintet, orchestra, jazz. It is a good arrangement and apparently there are a lot of people who are enjoying it. So its not wasting, even if it doesn't last.

    • @aaronjackson7166

      Mark H. I understand. This video as a matter of fact has served as a gigantic inspiration for my playing. This performance was in fact one of the ones that made me wanna take trumpet seriously. Any performance serves some type of purpose I suppose, especially if it’s this good

      You're such an ass hole he's very well known and he's definitely not wasting his talent. Who are you to say i've never heard your name before probably a good reason for that?
