Yaima's first album "Pellucidity" is a beauteous and bewitching collection of stories that seem to lead the listener on a journey through enticing soundscapes and floating melodies. Sustained by biological beats and engaging world rhythms, "Pellucidity" will soothe the savage and move the peaceful being in all of us....
Pellucidity means- to allow the maximum passage of light, to see clearly, as clear as fresh water in a mountain lake...
Pellucidity has been released on the label Jumpsuit Records which was established by David Sugalski aka The Polish Ambassador. The label was created as a platform for like-minded artist to collaborate, cross-pollinate, promote, perform, tour and brainstorm. It is moving away from a standard label paradigm to more of a musical collective. I came across you in a video by Christina Martine at Lucidity Festival 2016 and I was amazed not only by your voice and the words you sang but also they way you all orchestrated the music into a beautiful cohesive melody... everything was just perfect. After about 20 minutes of this I started putting down roots and sprouting leaves. Birds suddenly appeared out of nowhere and a squirrel started eating the acorns that were sprouting from behind my left ear (it hurt, by the way...plants have feelings too my friend!) and now my home office is full of bird poop and dander and discarded bits of acorn shell and I have to clean it up...shows what happens when you take a break from your work to watch a UA-cam video!

Was already acquainted with Citta Flow's music, wouldn't have linked them with Yaima, in my ignorance, but maybe thats why the music of Yaima resonated with me. Only music I listen to with lyrics is stuff like Monster Magnet. I find lyrics in down tempo/psy interfere with the 'trip'. But will persevere with this, based on your recommendation, 2 work lyrics out.
