My sister and I couldn't wait for this show to air on MTV every week. We'd sneak out and get baked then tune in. Lots of laughs😅. I miss those days. She's passed now and these video remind me of those days. Thanks for posting this.

I remember watching this show waaaay back when and thinking 'it's only really funny sometimes...but MAN am I glad they made it'. It was just SO refreshing.

Alexei Sayle was about as funny as a dead chicken; the show slows to a crawl whenever he's on screen. Otherwise, a perfect classic of comedy!

+Neil Liddle He was in a Comic Strip production and all 6 series of Absolutely Fabulous and in my opinion he was crap in all of them.

He was lucky to get the part. But please, don't demean someone. He was in the right place at the right time, and they needed a 'straight man'. He was only as good as the words he was given.

Alexi Sayle always tried too hard and ended up contrived and disingenuous. He was never funny and reminded me of American comics who also tried the same formula and bombed. The only thing awesome about him, is when he left the stage.

The thing about a lot of these jokes isnt that theyre funny; the jokes are awful; just that the situations are so weird and stupid and awful, and the characters resort to puns.

Blame Ricks girlfriend for writing the boring bits she brought in all those stupid puppets and posters talking etc which was a good idea in theory but the jokes went nowhere like these rats stupid jokes but at least rick killed them with Neils grandfathers ukalele entirely made out of matchsticks on his death bed, 2 dogs talking about a nose bleed or some demented guy laughing stupidly in futumsh demon ep or sailors from and old painting. i think the only one that worked was the fly on the wall documentary crew but i bet Ben Elton did that one instead of her. So blame Ricks dick instead of using his bigger head and getting better writers. And Alexis Sale was totally non sequitur.
Mindfulclarity, I truly hope you are trolling. All the puppets and musical acts were Paul Jackson's doing because a variety show got more funding. So blaming Rik's libido on what you call jokes going nowhere is absolutely irrelevant. Lise Meyer wrote some of the best jokes on the show! And the small amount of time Alexei serves in each episode serve as comedic genius. And if this formula was so stupid, then why did the Family Guy rip off this entire formula and make himself rich in the meantime. Piss off you fucking wamker!
