I don’t care Hope was hurting for almost a year and have every right to take her baby with her. She was stolen from her at birth. Stephanie and Taylor should have done a background check on Flo.

Lot of Hope haters don't acknowledge that Hope never signed her parental rights away to her daughter. She was stolen and illegally sold. Hope and Steffy were both victims of Reese, Flo, and Zoe.

Let's all be honest here was the timing horrible yes but life goes on and how long was Steffy to wait to adopt. Hope was already trying to dictate things by not wanting to have Taylor around and not having the girls close after saying we need to put the children first. So Steffy was making plans for her family.

Finally wrong has been turned into right again and there will always be pain and suffering when thinking about these lost months.
Steffy is in a sad situation but there is no other way forward. And she certainly has no right to stand in their way and Liam and Hope are not responsible for her wellbeing at all.
And there Wyatt comes crawling back to Sally! This is so poor. Sally told him multiple times that nobody is a saint and now there is Wyatt's great awakening...She should have kicked his ass damn hard!

Taylor is the main one at fault here. She opened her trap about her jealousy and hatred towards the Logans and even said Hopes name to him, to a stranger she barely met. If she had not said Hopes full name to Reese then Reese would never have known who she was that night in the clinic. And Hope would've gotten to take her baby home. And as far as the adoption I am sorry Taylor and Steffy both used very poor careless judgement. No matter if its private or not no adoption happens that quickly. They should've known something was off.
Hope passed out. Reese saw his opportunity it had nothing to do with Taylor. He even said as much when questioned about why the rush. He said he would find someone else to take her if Steffy didn’t.

As a Steffy fan, I absolutely hated this storyline. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that Hope got her baby back but as always, Hope and Liam get their happily ever after while Steffy is left suffering. It's like the writers are trying to destroy Tridge's family. Taylor shooing Bill and begging Brooke on her knees to keep quiet, Steffy being a Hope and Liam prop for a decade, Caroline being killed off and making Thomas crazy and obsessed with Hope to giver her another child. It's ridiculous
I'm so happy that Steffy now has a loving, devoted man who loves her and only her. Taylor is back and bonding with her kids again, Thomas has been doing really well
Everyone has had their moments if trials and tribulations, happiness and sadness. The Forresters should be happy for their blessings but instead some are trying to create war and division

At this point, a baby was stolen it's not about Hope and Liam, always running off into the sunset. All did well here, with this story line focus on the bad guys. Not the good guys, steffy, Liam and Hope.

No matter who you think was right or wrong - Hope, Liam and Steffy were victims. Brooke and Ridge did not help and actually made things worse. Brooke was so darn tone deaf and Ridge was almost as bad. How those two ever manage to stay married for more than 10 minutes when they can’t stop fighting about their kids amazes me.
It's so weird to look at that... Not so long after, when Steffy came back from the rehab, and Beth and Kelly were together in the nursery, Steffy reacted only to Kelly. She spoke to Kelly and about Kelly and she didn't acknowledge Beth even being there. Where did all the love for "Phoebe" evaporate within few months?
What I would have also liked to see in this storyline that maybe see Hope bond with Kelly before the realization that Beth was alive and handed to Steffy.
Steffy crying about Beth! She was never your daughter stupid! I mean, if I adopted a child and then I found out that the child parents thought their kid was dead! I would immediately give the child back and I would move all my life. The kid was never mind. The adoption was invalid. It’s fine with me. Have a nice life. I was a glorified babysitter for few months. I never once in 2019 called Phoebe because Phoebe doesn’t exist because Phoebe died in 2008

Why do we follow B&B’s twisted storylines? Thomas wants to make out with his step sister Hope. Steffy has got Liam (who would have been her brother in law if not for her forbidden involvement with him) entangled with her. Liam keeps shuttling between his two wives. And Ridge and Taylor’s kids are doomed to be miserable it seems. The writers need to show us the happily-ever-after at some point, and explore other characters in the story.

Good lord people. You keep saying, 'Put yourself in Hope's shoes!' Well can you ALSO put yourself in Steffy's shoes? None of them knew that Phoebe was Beth and obviously had no reason to. Of course Steffy wanted Phoebeth to stay. She was in shock! Thinking it's a normal day then coming home to where 2 people are waiting to take what you always believed was your child away. While Hope was grieving, Steffy was NOTHING but sympathetic to Hope. Hope kept pushing and pushing for months for Liam and Steffy to reunite, despite everyone's protest. She chose to push away and divorce her husband which she never seemed to really acknowledge lost a child too. She chose to marry Thomas despite everyone's protest. She didn't have to marry him to be a mother to Douglas. Steffy only chose adoption because of Hope threatening to not let their daughters be together if Taylor stuck around. Hope was always dictating how everything else needed to be for her. Same after she got Beth back, now she never stopped loving Liam and they need to be a family again after pushing him away for months earlier and Steffy needing to respect that. Glad Steffy AND Liam both chewed her out about it later on.
How about this let someone still your child and you find out WHAT would you do think about then come talk to us !!!

This was 3 years ago and it still annoys me how insensitive Hope was to Steffy. I know it's Beth and Hope had every right to take her back, but just ripping her away from Steffy who had also been a mother to Beth for months was wrong. Situations reversed Hope fans would be saying the same thing about Steffy. Now Hope is going to know what it feels like when Thomas takes Douglas back.

Hope's pain is greater than steffy's.
You act like Steffy wouldn’t have done the exact same thing had the roles been reversed. And knowing the writers, had Hope left Beth with Steffy to give her some time, Steffy would have most likely ran away with Beth. It’s not about being sensitive, it’s about getting the baby back to her mother. As Hope said, she was not Steffy’s surrogate therefore she had every right to walk out of there with her baby. The Douglas thing is a different situation. Douglas was never stolen, Thomas gave Hope co-custody of that boy, therefore Hope is a legal guardian. Thomas just can’t walk out with him like that unless he gets full custody, which I would prefer for him to do. I’m neither a Hope fan nor a Steffy fan, I just don’t like Liam.

Five years later!
Rewatching and I am comparing this to one life to live Starr and Jess/Tess baby switch with Hope. They were cousins and the families really sat down and talked through both girls mental well being! The Mannings didnt just run in and snatch Hope from the Buchanans home nor did Todd/Victor go in and insult Jessica his neice. The handoff of Hope was done by Victoria to Todd. Jess was sent to a hospital.
Brooke disgusting behavior is low class but what else can we expect. Hope is actually behaving normally but Brooke should of been a mediator not instigator.
brooke does not give a damn about steffi or her kids.. if steffi has to suffer so hope can get her way thats fine with her.. look how she acted when steffi was in the hospital. she didnt go see her once.... she whined about unfair it was to her daughter🙄🙄

I miss these previous writers. The writers these days are horrible. I have to say, 10 years later I think I am now DONE with this soap. The drama is toooo much. I've seen this storyline again and again and again. Its literally beating a dead horse. How many times will Ridge bounce between Taylor and Brooke, and how many times will Brooke bounce between Ridge and Bill and Deacon. I AM DONE. Bye Bye Bold and Beautiful....BORING!!! I think this should have been discussed with Steffy and her family first. Going to Brooke and Hope when she has a deep dislike for them was a mistake.
Steffy got a lot of nerve she's just like her mama want to keep a baby that doesn't even belong to her and her mother didn't even take care of the baby she had because it wasn't her child she's a selfish person she don't love Ridge until somebody else have

We've often seen reactions where biological mothers changed their minds and wanted their baby back after giving them up for adoption and Steffy's reaction is very similar. The actress did a fantastic job, her reaction was so realistic

She too had a child ripped from her. No she wasn't presumed dead, but ripped away regardless. I still stand by what I said in that Hope was in ways cruel in some of the things she said to Steffy!

@@crisvanfan I agree. Beth needed a slow transition so she could get used to Hope again full time. From Beth’s perspective Steffi is her mother. Little babies can develop attachment issues under these types of circumstances.
Different situation. Hope grieved for a child that was stolen and sold from her and believed she was dead. Any mother would've went to get their child in that situation. If you say you wouldn't do the same, that is BS. If it was reversed Steffy would've done the exact same thing. She deserved to have her child back. The Douglas situation is Thomas let Hope take him, she didn't steal him, like Beth was stolen. So cruel.
The way Hope acted was disgusting. She truly did this wrong.

This was the worst and boring storyline that B&B ever made in years... Only Hope got a storyline for 7 months!! Way too long! while others were pushed to the side lines.. And Hope was boring as hell whining and whining each episode. 2019 could have been the best year for the soap possible! In 2018 we already got a few teasers for what could possibly go down the following year. I honestly expected better from Bell. He only made this boring storyline to once again hurt Steffy. Things that could have and should have happend: Reese's gambling problem and problems with criminals that could have put Zoë and Taylor in danger. Near the end of 2018 Reese was showed being a gamble addict and being threatend by criminals. I honestly was curious to see how his addiction and problems would play out the next months. There was a potentiol for him and Taylor to fall in love, Reese and Zoë's father/daughter bond to be explored and fixed and Zoë and Emma becoming rivals over Xander. Reese would deal with the criminals and Zoë would keep an eye on her father and try to find out what he's up to and what the nature of his relationship with Taylor is. She would also put her relationship with Xander on the line by ignoring and forgetting him. that would draw Xander back to Emma and Emma would try to figure out her true feelings for Xander and ask Hope for advice. Reese and Taylor would fgure out their feelings for each other and Taylor would try to find out what Reese is hiding from her. Ridge would be jeaulus of Reese and Taylor dating and Brooke and Taylor battle over Brooke's meddling in Taylor's life as both Brooke and Hope would still ressent Taylor being a part of their family after she shot Bill. The second storyline should have been about Quinn vs Pam. As we saw in 2018 Pam and Quinn had a little fight over Pam wanting to marry Charlie in Quinn and Eric's home. Pam may have dropped her request for a while, but soon she'll force it on Eric again. Pam plans on getting rid of Quinn as Eric's wife so she can marry Charlie in Eric's home with Stephanie's portrait up. Quinn would use Donna later on to seduce Eric and lure him away from Quinn. Quinn would use every trick in her playbook to stop pam. Quinn would try to come between Charlie and Pam to warn Pam not to mess with her. Pam will manipulate Eric's feelings for Quinn to get him to end his marraige. Some spicy fighst would happen between these two the next months. Eric and Charlie stay natural to the situation but also try to keep the peace. The third storyline should have been about Hope vs Steffy over Taylor's place in the family and Kelly's place in her sisters' life. Hope would continue to keep Beth out of Kelly's life after her birth as long as Steffy keeps Taylor around. Steffy will be tired of keeping the peace and realise it's war between her family and the Logans. Brooke will blame Taylor for reigniting their daughters feud, but Taylor will stand her ground and teach Brooke a lesson. Liam will be in a difficult situation as he has daughters with both woman. Taylor will help guide hope through Beth's birth and call Reese to assist her. This situation will happen when Taylor decides to have a conversation with Hope about her decision to ban Kelly from her sisters life. they will argue and that's when Hope gives birth to Beth. Even tho Taylor helps Hope she'll still remain with her decision which will only fuel Steffy's anger towards Hope and Brooke. Evatually hope will decide to turn Taylor in when Steffy schemes to give Kelly the oppurtunity to see beth with Liam's help. That will be the end of Lope's marraige. But Steffy won't want Liam back. The fourth storyline should have been about Wyatt and Sally opening up their own fashion house. Wyatt would invest in reviving Spectra Fashions. Sally leaves FC and Wyatt SP. To Bill's disaproval. He doesn't trust Sally's intensions with Wyatt. Bill would scheme against Sally to end her realtionship to his son. Bill thinks that Sally will use Wyatt to reach the top and then dump him. With Wyatt already investing in her fashion house he was right. But Sally won't let Bill destroy her life again. Wyatt will try to keep his father from interfearing. Sally will use some of her old tricks to fight back when she starts to feel cornerd. katie will try to keep Bill from falling back in to old habbits, but understand his concerns when it comes to Sally as she doesn't trust her either. Katie will corner Sally and question her true motives regarding Wyatt and her business. Later on flo and Shauna move to LA and Flo runs in to Wyatt. Bill seizes an oppurtunity to use Flo in his mission to get rid of Sally. Sally and Flo will become rivals over Wyatt. The fifth and last storyline should have been about Caroline and Thomas returning home to let Douglas live with his family. Caroline would try to get back together with Thomas. Ridge and Steffy help Caroline by having them work together on a new project at FC that will draw them closer together.
It was eight months just started in January of 2019! I agree this was one of the stupidest story lines that show that were done, but it’s still not as bad at 2017 Steffy sleep with Bill for no reason!
I really felt bad for Steffy on this episode. Like she didn’t even know that Phoebe was Beth at all. Hope with her ungrateful ass, I don’t even know what to say at all. Y’all Hope fans can come after me all you want too, I don’t care.

Not to mention Thomas found out the truth and kept quiet as she grieved the loss of her child and him handing his son as a replacement and watched as his sister bonded with Hope's child but you people seriously look to brand her as ungrateful. Neither Thomas's or steffy's gruef compares to what she went through. Very sorry steffy was hurt and as for hope being weary rightfully so she just needs to know Douglas will be ok.

The bottom line is Douglas is his son. I wouldn't let BROOKE raise a rat yet there she is acting like mother of the decade completely forgetting all her transgressions. Hope is not perfect either and honestly her goody two shoes behaviour doesn't fool me. She has acted bad and cold when she wants to but somehow it's overlooked by her fans. The difference with me I can be objective no matter who I like
