  • This is the 1964 Philadelphia City Championship football game between the Catholic League Champions, Father Judge, versus the Public League Champions, Frankford High School, played at Franklin Field on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania on December 12, 1964.
    Father Judge finished the regular season tied in the Northern Division with Cardinal Dougherty both with a record of 5-1. Judge and Dougherty played a tiebreaker game after the regular season in front of an overflow crowd at Northeast High School in which Judge won 12-7. Father Judge then went on and defeated St. James 32-14 in the Catholic League Championship Game played at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia. The Public League Championship was decided in the regular season where Frankford finished the regular season 7-0-1.
    All-Catholic players in this game from Judge include Dennis Ziemba (OT), Bill Kelly (QB) and Charlie Jarvis (RB).
    All-Public players from Northeast include Ed Fisher (OT) and Gary Friedhoff (RB).
