Gold Hog Sampling Sluice

Testing out my sampling sluice and sampling some new areas where I am working. It like fast water, so I think I am going to fabricate a highbanker hopper that I can set up when needed. It works great, I can run a lot of material through this little sluice. Not only does it speed up my sampling but it allows me to sample more material.

Thanks! I try to shoot video everytime I go out, I don't always get to. I wish I would have shot this video with my camcorder instead of my digital camera but it turned out ok. The video is from two locations, the first one is Jeromesville, on Main street at the end of town. The second is Ashland by Perkins on 250, both spots are right by the road, and both spots were slim pickings. There has to be better spots in that area I only sampled areas close to where I was working, short on time.

Despite being filmed with Soviet potato camera it was good video.
