He was hired by other demonic hybrid families to purge Nanaya's entire family, not just Kiri who in anticipation of fighting Kouma gouged his eye out. Shiki's entire family. You can say that these two, Nanaya and Kouma, deserve to kill each other at the end, as they did. This is a fitting end for the both of them.
I guess UA-cam does terrible injustice if it actually does, because I find the original PS2 disk release (you can find on KHInsider) to sound better. I won't doubt Raito at all, but UA-cam video ain't giving this the best result.
