The loss of a legendary gator

- I am so saddened by the loss of the gator Seven, he was a huge impressive animal. He was such an amazing alligator and I loved him so much. It’s just so sad, doesn’t feel real to lose such a living dinosaur that seemed like an invincible force of nature. I worked with Seven from 2007 up until just over a year ago when I moved away from south Florida and started my own sanctuary in north Florida. I haven’t worked with him in over a year and wish I could’ve spent more time with him. My condolences to everyone who worked with him at Everglades Holiday Park. If you only follow me on UA-cam you've probably never seen him since I was not allowed to film YT at that park, but on my other platforms I shared many videos of him and he educated so many people about gators. You can see many photos and videos of him on my IG & FB.
In this video Gabby and I talk a lot about how unfotunately many people blamed Seven's passing on me and that he died of a "broken heart". Not only is this incorrect, but incredibly rude and insulting. I have NEVER had any gator I have worked with in over 20 years ever act happy to see me or show any evidence of missing me. In some ways this video is therapeutic for Gabby and I to be able to talk about our feelings on this matter, we even talked about deleting it after doing this long discussion, just because it was like therapy to talk these feelings out but we werent sure if it was something "worth" posting, and admittedly this video will probably offend some people and wont be everyone's cup of tea. But I am deciding to go ahead and post it up because these are things that need to be said for this instance, and for the NEXT loss of an animal, because sadly there will be more, it is an inevitability of running an animal sanctuary with many injured animals.
My dad died of cancer. After he passed I tried to treat his dog that had thyroid. The medication given to me ended up killing her. When I posted about her passing, which was two months after I lost my father ( and I rescued this dog ; she was my baby ) it was filled with people telling me "she died because she missed your dad" then getting mad at ME when I corrected them and told them that's bullshit. People are beyond self-centered and fucked up.
People will go to any extreme to turn a conversation to themselves.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope there is enough love and support in real life that you can heal. May Peace be with you.
@@FrancesOlson-rh9kg Thank you very much for your kind words. ♥ It means a lot ; I hope your day is a good one and your life is also filled with love.
Chris I’m so sorry to hear about Seven. You are such an incredible educator and I have learned so much from continuing to watch you. I am terrified of alligators and crocodiles but you have given me such appreciation for them!
Thank you
Chris you are doing a great thing. I am also maddened with some of the comments. People should be nicer.
Hi Chris I really enjoy your channel. You both have so much love, and passion for all of the animals, and reptiles. I am so glad that you both had this discussion. To tell the truth, and how hurtful it was for people to say those terrible commments. You have both dedicated your lives to take care of these alligators. And they have a wonder life with all of your care. I have learned so much about alligators, and thanks for all of the important information about them. Cindy❤alligators
It's awful that you have to deal with idiots while you're grieving. I'm so sorry for the loss of Seven, he was such a special gator 💚
So sad to hear that Seven passed away. 😢. He was my favourite gator and loved watching you interact with him.
Chris I have learned so much by watching your videos interacting with the gators. 7 was the first one I saw you with and he quickly became my favorite. I will miss seein him on video 😞
this is the only social media platform i use and therefore is how i found you guys. Don’t change anything. I enjoy you for who you are and appreciate the authentic nature of your posts. Keep it up and don’t let the haters get you down. There are many of us out here that support you and enjoy you sharing what you do
Thank you!
@@GatorChris_your channel is amazing…don’t let jealous naysayers deflate your success. When people are negative all the time it says a lot about their character. Your channel has inspired many lives including me. I love you guys ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Agree. I also like the longer, aducational videos way more, than shorts/tiktok. I never warmed up to twitter and neither to tiktok. Most of the time i just can't express my thoughts in sich a limited time/space.

You tube is best for me. I watch history and animal videos like its the old Discovery and History channels. And I can try and make genuine comments. What I learn about animals and seeing folks who really care about them is both informative and encouraging.
I don't even understand how people can watch your content and still anthropomorphize these amazing animals. I'm sorry for your loss Chris and I'm sorry people are crappy! Loved watching you with Seven and your stuff has helped me understand and love these animals so much more. Thanks for all you do!
Also, the AI slop videos are killing the internet, its not just in this space, its everything.
I don't get it either people are weird. Seven was one of the best
Because people want a world that is all rainbows and puppies and can’t wrap their brains around any other paradigm. They can’t grasp that nature is red in tooth and claw.
@@Cloak1972 exactly 💯
@@Cloak1972agree. When i was a child, my family LOVED to watch nature documentations. At least parts of those. But every time nature went bloody, they switched chanels. They wanted to see the cute lion cubs, but not the mothers hunt a zebra for their food. They only wanted the Disney version and always complained like "URGH! That is so brutal! Why do they need to show us THAT?" Also they claimed they LOVE all animals, but had meat on a daily basis and laught at me, when i wanted to stop eating meat as a child. Some people are just completly delusional and don't realise, how thwistet their own mind is.
I love how you, Chris and gabby are themselves… don’t care if they offend people.. true people.. you both are just so real.. your doing the best job, your living the dream..
love these type of videos
I love how you enter act with these gators Chris, clearly you've given the majority of your life to care for these magnificent animals while educating people a long the way. Sorry about 7 😢 .... The both of you have had the special opportunity to cross paths in life and that experience is a treasure I'm sure you'll carry in your heart for the rest of your life. I often wonder if alive today, Steve Erwin would be mesmerized by your special ability with these gators. ❤
It’s hard to
Lose an animal you love. Lack of compassion makes it so much harder. I am sorry for the people who have magnified your pain.
Chris, please accept my deepest condolences regarding the passing of Seven! 😢 I know he meant a lot to you and I'm sending you virtual hugs!!! It's a shame people are more interested in themselves and asking stupid questions then to show you the empathy you deserve. I for one only follow you here on YT. I dont have IG or FB. So, this is the only opportunity I get to see and hear about what's going on in your life and the sanctuary. I hope people can listen to yours and Gabbys words in this video and show you guys the empathy you deserve. I love this channel and all the animals under your care and consider it a privilege to be able to see these videos.
Your work has helped and is helping many animals. You contribute your heart and soul, not to mention finances, to make the world a more compassionate place. Humans and non-humans alike are lucky you are in the world. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.
Your mental health is so important..
sorry I’m commenting so many times..
But I support you be you.. don’t let the world change you…
Be outspoken… you get so much love.. but people will hate on you too.. take time off.. if you need to.. I love learning and be a part of your world.. learning stuff.. and love your attitude… hope you keep posting 😊
Seven was a legend. He would get very hissy when you would clean his pool. Until your Facebook post I was not aware that he was even sick. Gators are so hardy I wonder what happened. 😢
I think they said it had been sick for a little while .. probably I read it on Instagram
I am sorry for your loss and sorry for the stupidity of some. The alligator gets used to seeing you, you are their food giver. A wild animal is always wild. People need to realize this. Please never stop educating us. I personally have learned so much from you and Gabby. Thank you both so much.
I’m so sorry for your loss! People don’t understand that they are not human and don’t have the feelings we do. You have to be proud that you helped Seven give him a happy life while you worked with him. You have a pure heart for these alligators. I thank you for all you do. You too Gabby.
Im so sorry to hear of sevens passing, he was a gorgeous boy. My mum always taught me if you cant say something sensible, then dont flap your trap and keep it to yourself. Its unbelievable that people blame you for leaving. If they dont like the way you are, then why are they here? I love the way you take no crap, thats the one thing i respect about you both. You guys rock ❤
When i called you the alligator whisperer i was not serious . Because you've educated me more than you'll know. I appreciate it all.
You mean you were serious 😆
I'm truly saddened to hear about the loss of Seven. I enjoyed the interactions with u and Seven and all you've taught us.
I can just imagining how hard is to loose an animal that you love
Chris you are amazing with this animals you didn't do anything wrong
I follow you and seven for so many years if people will follow accordingly they won't say that
I remember so many time when seven trying to get aggressive with you and you handle very professional
I love what you do and I give you allot respect again I'm sorry for you loss
Some of your education has reached & impacted zoo keepers in Sydney Australia. After finding your channel this year, i went to hand feed hyenas (through bars) in march, they were saying they couldn't be tamed after i was surprised how gentle they were & I mentioned your channel & how I really like that you always say the animals you work with are trained not tamed & the keepers said they were going to use that phrase from now on & going look up your channel.
I'm so sorry people suck! I love your videos. I've learned a lot from you. It's heartbreaking 💔 about Seven. You are so good with animals.
I’m so sorry to hear about Seven. He was a true gator ambassador.
Even if he didn’t love us, we loved him!
Just came across this channel by pure chance.
I'm Italian and live in a substantially different enviroment (Po Valley), so i've never gotten to know alligators "up close", so to speak.
I had NO idea whatsoever they'd hiss like angry cats. This is such a surprise it kind of left me speechless. I would've imagined they'd growl, but a hiss? Such amazing creatures.
Sorry for your loss Chris.
Be safe out there.
well, I'm glad I found THIS channel then since I don't have any other kind social media that I interact with and its been so educational and so enjoyable. I could listen to ya'll all day because you keep it real and real in this crazy world these days is a good thing, refreshing.
Oh man. Im so sorry. I love gators and crocodiles, its like the closest thing Ill ever get to seeing a living dinosaur. The more I see the more I can see personality in their face’s & movements and Seven was such a lovable big boy bursting with personality and sweetness.
Once again Im sorry. He was such an entertaining and lovable boy.
I'm so sorry about Seven. And I'm sorry people are being predictably awful. You and Gabby are so incredible and I respect the work you do. Take care of you and know that you are so appreciated!
Chris and Gabby you are both an inspiration! Please don’t put energy into people that are misguided. Hopefully you can continue to reach the mass in educating them on all species. Unfortunately when people are happy and successful others try to bring them down. I can’t wait until you are open and meet the both of you in person.
So sorry to hear about Seven. I started watching your videos years ago with him, Casper, and the others. My mother passed away from ALS almost 2 years ago and she loved watching your videos with them. You and Gabby are amazing to care for all the animals. Thank you both for everything you do!
I also started out watching Seven and Casper before Gabby and Chris got their new property! My mom is currently battling pancreatic cancer and she and I love watching Gabby and Chris together, she’s always asking if there’s a new sanctuary vlog for us to watch.
I am so sorry Chris for your loss. I also want to thank you for educating us. I have so much admiration for you and Gabby. ❤
I am truly sorry about the loss of Seven. It does baffle me often reading the comments on your videos. I comment sometimes, and even had to turn off notifications on one of them when I asked you about gators' breath. I was genuinely curious even if it was an odd question... but some of the responses were awful! I have thoroughly enjoyed being educated by you and Gabby. I can see the love you have for your animals. I have passed so much knowledge on to others here in my community after learning from you both. The compassion you have is something to be admired!
I do giggle a lot at Bella's sassiness though. She's a little menace and I love her!
Seven is the reason I found out about you and Gabby. I initially saw a Facebook post about you and Seven. Then I watched Florida Wildest. He will be missed ❤
I have to say sorry for the upset a few uneducated people have given you over the passing of a wonderful beast seven, we have followed you a few years on social media and love your content.
Now we’ve definitely going to view more on this platform.
Take care of all the animals you can and each other, you’re doing a fantastic job and hope what you do gets the respect and recognition it deserves.
❤❤❤❤
Sad to hear Seven passed away. He was one of my favorite gators.
So sorry for your loss.
I am so sorry for your loss. The videos with seven is how I got hooked on your content. You are amazing people! Thank you for being yourselves
I just watched your video cleaning Seven’s pool. Much respect for both you and him and sorry for your loss. I do understand what you are trying to say, that they are wild animals and would rip you to pieces if you slipped up. This is why you’ve been so successful at what you do. It’s totally clear that you know what you are doing. Thanks for your videos.
😢🫶🏻 so sorry to hear about Seven… ❤ A truly an amazing gator and tons of valuable teaching moments! I will remember all the really cool selfies and “playful” 😂 videos. 🥰🥰🥰
Sorry for the loss of seven. Both of you are great educators and I appreciate your time and devotion to educate people about these amazing creatures
I’m new to the group and have grown to really love this rescue. I’ve seen the genuine heart you have for the work and so appreciate it. The animals aren’t in love with you but they depend on you. They’re programmed to consume and not love. It’s our love for them we’re projecting.
Hello from Ontario Canada. Been following for little over a year congrats on all your success. On a previous video I remember Chris talking about all the negative comments and maybe taking a break for awhile for mental health reasons. I'm suicidal so I know mental health but whenever I feel down I turn to Chris and Gabby videos absolutely love watching I hope you don't take a break but understand if you do so many people hate just to make themselves feel good
I couldn’t imagine all of the stuff yall have to deal with on a daily basis! I really appreciate yall showing us a part of it!!
Please don’t stop the videos. I’ve learned so much from you guys and I share the passion of alligators and look up to you. Thank you for all you guys do.
Your daily vlogs are something SO MANY OF US look forward to every day…..you make us smile, cry, gasp, and get to know you on a personal level!! You both are so real and refreshing!! ❤Please don’t let the stupid, ignorant people have any effect on what you guys do or who you are!! Keep doing what you do to make this world a better place!! 👍👍👍👍 35:43
I am so sorry for the loss of 7. I loved watching you work with him. He was such an amazing alligator and you 2 were great together
You guys are the best - I’ve been following for about 6 yrs, and have learned so much. I think sometimes people think social media is like watching TV, and just throw out commentary as such. It’s nuts. Keep doing what you’re doing! 👏🏼❤️💚
My wife is a big fan and watches you two all the time. I catch your show sometimes when your feeding the animals and the love and knowledge you have really is heart warming. F the trolls and haters and keep doing what your doing. Love you guys.
Seven was an awesome animal, i remember seeing videos of you with him and how much love you had for him.
Its horrible what people are ignorantly accusing you of.
Keep making these vlogs, its so great what you are doing there
Sometimes it seems entitlement and self absorption runs rampant online. It’s sad that hurtful thoughtless comments added to your grief. Thank you for the daily blogs. Your generosity in letting us share your lives is appreciated. You both make a great difference in this world, the positive ripples are far reaching.
I just subscribed because I saw a clip of you on FB today.
So far, what a fabulous find for me! Understanding the nature of critters is a subject that is close to my heart.
Anthropomorphism runs rampant, for sure.
All I can say with response to how so many people are lacking is that “you can’t fix stupid”.
Thank you for what you do and I look forward to learning and enjoying your channel.
On the flip - congrats on the engagement! Was a great video . Nice delivery Chris and Gabbs face was priceless.
oh no. I am so sorry for your loss. May many more gators shine and live on in Seven's memory. Blessings to you Chris, Gabby and all at Bellowing Acres.
Chris please don't listen to those absolute trolls who are a Waste of space. Seriously, you are one of the MOST caring and learned animal caregivers and to expect you to stay in the same place for some heartbreak you may cause to Zero, whom you love, by leaving is just LUNCAY. OMG anyone who sees any kind of truth will know you always do what is best for the animals. You left Zero in his home, which he thrived in and was well loved and adored.
Honestly some people just want to watch the world burn and Hurt anyone. it is so sick. I am so sorry that those idiots terrible trash talk out of their butts affected you while you are mourning.
Please take care of yourself and take time.
I agree. They are trolls.
CHRIS.... Don't let your curiosity override your empathy is an amazing life lesson. Not only are you educating us on gators but life as well. I follow you for your realness and honesty and enjoy your real life content and interactions. Your passion in what you do is inspiring. I think you gave a lot of people something to think about. Including myself. Your wife is amazing too. Again, I love that both of you show real life , as it is and allow us into your world and let us know you both. ❤❤❤ Much love and respect.
Hi Chris
Some people are so POOR that all they can give is money.
Poverty of heart, of soul, of whatever you want to call it.
You guys have been great to Seven and I keep you all in my prayers.
To those tempted to say that prayers don’t work, spare your nasty words.Prayer simply mean to focus good wishes and good intentions in a certain direction.
When people are horrible my teachers tells me to “ don’t even bother ignoring it”. So just to illustrate how little attention we should pay.
Anger is all over, there are so many wars going on at the moment.
Let’s surround ourselves by good influences and hard working kind ones like yourselves.
❤❤
Seven was one in a million 🐊❤ Rest Easy Seven and Thank you!!!! Chris I learned so much from you and Seven and I'm so very sorry for your loss my heart goes out!!!!
Thank you
Hi Chris, Very sorry you folks lost Seven. He seemed a very chill alligator as gators go. You have excellent educational content and I hope you continue your good works for many years to come.
Goodness gracious sakes 😤. I’m so very sorry some people are so ignorant. I am sorry to hear about Seven. Please know there are many of your subscribers who support you and Gabby.
Sorry, commenting as I listen lol. But so you know, because of you I have an interest in alligators and crocodiles. As a native Floridian I’ve never cared, they’re just wildlife and I just stay away. But now it interests me to learn about them through you and now I want to go to gatorland and if I lived closer to the Everglades place I’d do the swim with Casper. So I’m glad you do what you do and I am so glad you take care of all of these animals!
Sorry for your loss, I agree with you guys, the comments that some people leave are just uncalled for. Please know that you guys are educating us on all the wonderful animals that you take care of.
I’m so sorry you guys have to go this this. You’ve done an amazing job educating the public. I know I’ve personally learned so much ❤
Hi Chris Gabby, I'm from the North and didn't have much idea about crocodilians. I've learnt a lot from watching your interaction with them and the educational videos about crocodilians. They are now probably one of my favourite animals along with Orcas. Sorry for your loss, knowing a being for 17 years is a long time and I empathize with you Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Chris, I’m so sorry to hear about seven passing away. I’ve been watching you for a long time since you have been on gator boys and after gator boys. You’ve taught me a lot about these kinds of animals and what they can do very quickly. Sorry people are so crappy towards you
I’m so sorry to hear about Seven. I came across your blogs about six months ago and have been following them since. Great stuff! I respect your experience and expertise. We need a shirt, “I love them but they don’t love me!” 👍
Thank you both so much for sharing your knowledge and your journey. You are making a positive difference in this world. I've really enjoyed watching you both. 😊
Sorry for your loss, and I love watching your videos informative and educational don’t change who you are love your thoughts and how you share your feelings
Thanks have great day
I’m so sad to hear about Seven. I started following you when I found your videos with him and he was one of my favorite of your scaly kids.
Hey Chris and Gabby thanks for all the work you do for the animals and the informative videos. I always link your channel when someone brings up alligators or animal behavior in general.
Ive learned so much from you and gabby. Thank you for continuing to educate and im sorry so many ignorant comments have been made. Keep doing what yall are doing. Sending support
I'm so sorry about Seven, Chris. You must miss him. I'm also sorry you have to deal with... what you've described. I only follow you here and I love the long videos and how you are natural and just talk to us. Thank you.
Seven was such a bad ass and one of my faves! I am so sorry for your loss!😢 Just keep doing you and the awesome work you both do . Just remember that you can't please everyone and there will always be those people. ❤❤❤
😢 I'm sorry for your loss Chris and I really do understand your feelings and situations but I really do love the information that you give out because it is extremely accurate. But I feel your pain that you have expressed and I really do hope you two find a balance with your social media and your personal happiness.
So sorry about Seven. It's always a shock. No matter how attentive carergivers are there's often no good sign that something's going on. It was always great to see you work together.
I enjoy your YT the most because of the long form, and you both share really interesting information about the rescues in your care. (I also enjoyed going on a visit to the vet and NOT having to hand over a credit card at the end of the visit.) This channel makes it clear just how hard you work to keep things up and running. I hope you're both able to find a way to balance the the demands and benefits of a SM presence--It looks difficult, given what a large number of people you reach, and the anonimity of the internet allows people to interact so thoughtlessly. They say things that they never would in person.
Looking forward to the parody!
Chris firstly my condolences to you and to everyone who worked at the Everglades holiday park.. I have watched your videos on youtube and facebook with seven and the way you interacted with him was just awesome.. To have a animal like that trust you and you trusting him was awesome to watch... You are credit to what you with Alligators and other animals. I watch all your clips from Sydney Australia..seven was lucky to have you apart of his wonderful life
Hi Chris and Gabby! I'm so sorry to hear about Seven, he was a truly amazing animal. My thoughts are with you both and everybody involved with Seven.
It was a year ago i came across your channel for the first time and your videos are so inspirational and educational. Im loving following your journey with your sanctuary and im in awe of the time and work both you and Gabby put into it. Your work with Alligaters and Crocodiles is amazing and I'm now obsessed with Alligators especially. They are beautiful, amazing animals.
Please continue with your vlogs and videos, and thank you both for educating me 🐊
You two are awesome. 💚💙💜 Love what you do. There's always going to be know it alls and People with nothing better to do than vent their frustrations on people who don't deserve it.. The problem lies with them not you. I'm sure most people really enjoy the vlogs as i do, and appreciate the wonderful job your both doing.
Sorry about your loss of Seven. I haven't followed you with him as I started watching you with Casper and you have opened up an unknown and fascinating world for me, living in Italy. I have learnt so much about Alligators, Crocodiles and everyday life of people living with these animals on their doorstep. Unfortunately there are so many people that are ignorant and have no filter in their exchanges ,one of the bad parts of this social media world but for every idiot there are many of us that really appreciate and admire your way of communicating with us and the work you and Gabby are doing, you are both rare in a mad world.
Please don’t stop the vlog. I wait for every episode.
I volunteer at a animal and wildlife sanctuary, totally get your frustration. Your vlogs are reality. You 2 are amazing 🐊🐾
So sorry for your loss! I think that you gave him and the other gators in your care the best life possible. It’s obvious that you love the animals in your care regardless of how they feel about you, which is truly unconditional love and respect for animals! Keep up the education!
First of sorry to hear about seven, that’s really unfortunate. I really do appreciate what you and Gabby do, it’s educational and entertaining and you guys are just awesome.
Hey Chris. Sorry for your loss. I started watching you when you were doing Casper videos so I personally unfortunately never watched videos about seven. It looks like you cared about him a lot, how can you not when working with an animal for that long. I do follow you on Facebook but I prefer here on UA-cam and all you do with your sanctuary. I look forward to your next video
Hey Chis and Gabbi I enjoy all your different types of video. I like how you give insight to the hard job you have a passion for. Thanks for all you do.
The vlog channel here is the best channel on UA-cam! I love animals but my health doesn’t let me go anywhere. This lets me follow animals closely and I get to see their development etc. it’s amazing for me. I couldn’t thank you enough Chris and Gabby! I love you guys.
I just wanted to say even if you are not getting threw to some people you are getting threw to a lot of us 🙌. I am in Ontario Canada and we do plan some winter going on a trip to Florida taking the RV out. However after watching your vlogs (that’s when I started watching you) it makes me fearful of gators and I will definitely be watching my kids and dog, not feeding them. I have learned so much about them from you. ❤
You are absolutely right Chris, I lost my daughter. I have extreme intestinal issues now I had them before but nothing like the way it is now. I got on a medication that worked so good. A month later I had trouble breathing I wound up at hospital on deaths door. I had a great Dr, on duty who I told if I die everyone is going to say I had a broken heart.💔 ❤❤❤
Any stress makes such a disorder worse…I have all kinds of health issues and the loss of a beloved human being precious to you is horrific stress. Has nothing with a broken heart.
I’m so sorry for your loss of the legendary behemoth Seven, I’m even more sorry that in your mourning you have ignorant rude people trying to guilt you for “abandoning” him and being responsible for his death! Your videos with Seven the seven toed alligator are how I started watching your videos over 3 years ago, I got invested in how much you cared about education and the animals TRUE nature and not just theatrics and it’s something I didn’t see in many other reptile creators. 🐊
I am so sorry to hear about Seven, he was an incredible boy. You and Gaby are amazing with what you do and you have made a massive difference to all of the animals under your care both currently and in the past. Your education videos are so informative and both my daughter and myself look forward to tuning in to your videos each day. They are really inspiring and I love the way that you are with all of the animals, you can see how much love and devotion you have for them. Please keep doing what you're doing, you really do make our day
Respect for you and Gabby!! I’m sorry for the loss of seven!! The education you are providing is far and above more valuable , than the people who don’t care to be educated!! Thank you for your content!!
From one of your biggest fans, I am so incredibly sorry for your loss!! We all know how much you love all of your animals, and it’s never easy to lose one!! Thank you for this video!! So important to stay real with your supporters, and even your haters. People are ignorant, but that doesn’t give them permission to hurt you guys!! Love you both!
@32:01 there is a saying "never meet your hero" because the hero you see on tv, isn't necessarily that person in real life. I'm thankful for your authenticity and honesty, the world becomes a little less dark
I am so sorry for your loss, and for the lack of empathy shown to you by some commenters while you have been going through your grief. Sending you guys love and hugs.
So sorry for your loss.❤. Thanks for teaching me about alligators. They are astonishing Creatures and I am blessed to live near many here in Charleston, SC
Big hugs and sorry for your loss. Please dont stop the videos but completely get what you mean about comments and mental health and keeping yourself healthy by avoiding the rubbish on top.
You both need to do whats best for you but i love watching and learning so much from your channel xx
Chris & Gabby, I understand why you prefer animals over most humans.
Your vlogs have really helped me through rough health, and I've learned so much these last few months.
Keep on being ace, and don't let the idiots get to you too much.

Chris and Gabby, I’m so sorry to hear about Seven. What a blessing that he lived in a safe, nuturing environment for all of those years! He may not have realized he was safe, but at least you did!!! In this sadness, I hope that makes you smile.
Also, I’m so sorry for the negative comments you’ve gotten…people are so careless with words and seem to revel in ignorance, arrogance. and even cruelty.
I hope nothing deters you guys from sharing with the masses all of your adventures (and even your rants)…you guys are a blessing and provide SO MUCH education. I homeschool my kids and I can’t think of a better way to show them these types of animals than how you rehabilitate, train, and interact with them!
Praying for you guys, for your SAFETY, and continued perseverance through the “sea of suck” you sometimes have to swim through!
Beautiful discourse on nuance & the multifaceted nature of universal human emotions + their correlation with respective social media platforms across your career. Thank You for sharing the realities + honesty behind these careers & lifestyles. Always an honor and pleasure to learn from your lived experiences + impressive wisdom on animal behavior & human reactivity omg.
Enjoy seeing you reflect somberly on Seven yet also have a few laughs alongside during this video, as human nature should be. You bring smiles to many of us everyday brightening our toughest days too! Wishing you both the Best for your headspaces & mental health 🌟
I am so sorry for your loss (Seven) I can't even imagine how that must feel
Chris. I'm so sorry about Seven. He was by far my favorite gator that you worked with. I was sad when you quit working with him to start your own sanctuary but I understood. I cried when I heard about him. Thanks to you I have a better understanding about the gators. I am very fascinated with them now because of your teaching and interaction with Seven and Casper. I was hoping you would eventually got to bring Seven to your place. RIP Seven 🙏❤️💔

Awwww Iam so sorry Chris for the loss of 7!!!
It’s so hard to lose a creature that’s been in and a huge part of your life for so long, we create a bond with every creature that enters our lives and it grows stronger the longer there with us so when we lose one of them, it’s devastating and absolutely heartbreaking but I know that when you were there working with him, you gave him the best life possibley could!
Your doing right by him and every other creature that you’ve helped by continuing to care and help other creatures in need spreading awareness, education, and the importance of conservation you achieved so much and I know so much more is coming!
Keep in mind that you work so hard to help the creatures living on this planet and try to keep the balance and you do such amazing work! we may lose a few along the way, but the amount that you saved outweigh so much
I like that your real. Both of you. ❤❤ Again, I am incredibly sorry for your loss. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
